When you NEGLECTED to just mention that the lead guitarist from great white was also killed in the accidental fire then you lost me as a viewer and subscriber...Little too much journalistic sensationalism and not enough facts for me....
Proof of all Claims are Required.
Axl Rose freaking out over a camera in the audience is a quaint little relic of the past. Now they film the entire concert on their phone. In 1992, this would make his head explode like that dude in Scanners.
I've never seen Scanners but I've climbed a tree once and slipped and got my penis stuck between my thigh, a branch and the trunk of the tree.
I never understand why people pay for a concert and instead of enjoying the live experience they just film it. Are they actually going to go home and watch it. I assume that they post a 30 second dodgy clip online to get likes.
@@alanmacpherson3225 Yeah, it's not quite like back in the day, when these people were filming full shows with the intent to sell it. I lost count of how many bootlegs showed up in the 80s and 90s. Now, they'll just post it to UA-cam and maybe get some likes and subscribers. I can see why artists were a little more upset about filming back then. And the guy was filming. The security guy was a friend, which is why he did nothing.
What Axl did is still scuzzy.
@@alanmacpherson3225 🙌
It blows my mind that Vince Neil STILL takes NO RESPONSIBILITY for what he did. When you drive drunk and you KILL someone that is not an accident!!!
Exactly. I agree completely. And this is coming from someone whose family was affected by two separate drunk driving accidents. My uncle was killed by a drunk driver, and I have cousins who have lifelong injuries thanks to another fool who thought it would be a good idea to drive while drunk.
Vince is a douche.
How would we get the next Crue album with him in jail?
It's probably because he's a piece of shit and should be in jail right now.
I agree. Vince Neil had some tragedies after that, which I sometimes think was Karma. But what happened to his kid was so sad.
People like him will never learn because they think they do no wrong. I remember when I was younger, and I waited on him at a hotel I was working at, and he was just straight-up evil to me, so this man will never be redeemed
Vince Neil has always been way too cool about his DUI. I’ll never forget in the Motley Crue “behind the music” episode he said the family of his passenger refer to him as a murderer and that label hurt his feelings because it was an accident.
The guy destroyed the lives of multiple people and broke up an up-and-coming band with his actions, and still plays himself as a victim
It’s not an accident when you drive drunk. Also.. 30 days? That’s all he served? Unbelievable
If a liquor store is right down the street they could've walked.
Hanoi Rocks were about to be huge and Vince ruined it
Motley Crue were always overrated as a group and as human beings. They suck across the boards!
@@christiejensen1606 Or took a cab, with their kind of money.
30 days in jail for drunk driving that lead to someone’s death. Celebrities.
*cough* Bruce Jenner *cough*
@@EmiIyWearsFlannels Why do I know that name?
@@andrewleah1983 He calls himself Kaitlyn Jenner now.
@@EmiIyWearsFlannels Nope still no clue. (I’m being facetious.) Matthew Broderick is another one who killed someone with his car.
proves rich people get away with too much
Nikki Sixx did what he did because he saw the the security guard hit a female fan and he called him out on it saying "You feel like a big man picking on a girl? Let's see how you feel taking on the entire crowd!" Then he told the fans to kick the security guards ass. He said later that he regretted doing it that way but when he saw what the guy did it pissed him off.
Ngl, that’s pretty kick-ass
There was no need for Nikki Suxx to call Tommy Lee a "fucking nigger". Suxx claimed that "only a fucking nigger would hit a girl", and Tommy Lee "hit Pamela Anderson". I stopped liking Mötley Crüe altogether after that (I still liked a couple old songs even after finding out about what Lee did to Pamela Anderson).
It's absolute CRAP that Vince Neil was sentenced to 30 days in jail for what he did! Thirty freaking days?! Seriously? He should have been given a longer sentence!
This. All of this!
He’s atoning for this by having to perform in his current shape.
Pedophiles get away with less 😜😜😜
Yeah like 20 years!!!!
I wouldn't describe Ozzy Osbourne as a singer😂😂 My dog can sing better🐶🎤😍
A friend I was working with from the 80s was a friend of Razzle from Hanoi Rocks and I will always remember his hatred for Vince Neil after the accident. I just could not get over how Vince was so relaxed about what he did, and I do believe that he should have been punished a bit more than he was.
Don't worry Karma will catch up with him🤨🤨
Glitter to is by the worst of this list.
Vince Neil still doesn't get it. You're in 2000 lbs + weapon while intoxicated. That's not an accident that's stupid and a crime.
Nowadays Vince looks like a 2000 lbs + weapon without being intoxicated
I HATE that Vince Neal got away with killing his friend. A slap on the wrist? Whatever, he needs to be in prison to serve that full sentence that Joe Blow down the street would get for the same crimes.
My mom was a nurse at a local smaller hospital with the station fire. They did everything they could. Employees used thier car headlights to create a helicopter landing pad in the parking lot. They helped the people that came in as best they could…at one point they rallied and had a called-in triage unit finally arrive. Then a local fireman came in and said “ there’s no one left to save” . It was heartbreaking.
Her most vivid memory was a young man who came in with burns over 70% of his body and he kept asking “how do I look” and she said “ you still have your eyebrows” and he smiled. He didn’t make it.
It’s almost sad that when the section on Axl Rose mentioned him being blamed for a riot all I could think is “which one”?
Love that you mentioned GG Allin, he was literally insane .
His death was so Weekend At Bernie's 😂
Yeah honestly they could’ve put in a bunch of things for his entry
And pretty Gross too!!!!🤮🤮🤮
His funeral was just as bizarre
@@zaymclovin4178 really? What happened at his funeral?
You can't blame Sebastián Bach for getting angry. However, he went too far with it.
I agree with you that he had the right to get angry, but him blindly striking out disfigured a 16 year old girl. I don’t know that he ever even apologized to her.
There's video of him in his tour bus afterwards showing the injury that was done to his head by the person who threw the bottle at him, surrounded by cop cars waiting to arrest him, but no one ever mentions that. His actions were indeed wrong, but to his credit he apologized thereafter for what he had done in a blind rage.
The tragic irony is that at the time of the horrific fire at The Station, I don't think anyone going to see Great White at that stage of their career would have been surprised, or even disappointed to discover a lack of any pyrotechnic display.
Sad that the band got blamed for the fire when it was strictly on the owners and the bouncer that would not let people go out the door
"Cocaine is a hell of a drug." - Rick James
The Nikki Sixx one is debatable. Security punched a woman in the face Nikki saw this and was beyond pissed. He called the guard the N word and told the crowd to attack. The guy should not have hit a woman like that, but the racist slurs were not ok.
Gary Glitter 's been recalled to prison for looking at the dark web!!!
Really???
It Should never been released in the first place

Same excuse every pedophile uses
"I won't do it again" but they do
My heart nearly sank when Sebastian Bach came up. I thought he'd done something terrible. But really, having a bottle thrown at your head would piss off anybody. Lol.
That maybe true but, He threw a bottle back into the crowd without any thought or control and hit a 14 year old girl in the face causing all kinds of trauma. He's lucky he got what he got.
@@jumpingjacks5558 Yeah you're right. Doesn't excuse what he did, and I hope the girl was not seriously harmed.
@LynxClanRecords0182 Her nose was broken and there were lacerations on her face. He recieved 2 years probation, paid a $16,000 fine and settled with her outside of civil court for $500,000, which financially wiped him out at the time. So.... yeah, not his finest moment.
@@Caffeine_Club Jesus how hard did he throw that thing? Could've been a pitcher
As some mistake can stick with you for the rest of your life ! The seemingly never ending sexual abuse that fuxs the life of little children for their life time seems to me to be the worst . Yes I'm talking about Glitter the killer of innocents. He'll never change ! That's probably the worst here. His acts are deliberate!
Guns n Roses actually got banned from playing in St.Louis after the incident, until 2017.
Gary Glitter... By far the most disturbing. Then he somehow magically only does half of a sentence? It's BS
I still cannot believe Vince Neil only got 30 days in jail. The 2 million dollars is pocket change to him. Anyone else would have been convicted and sentenced to 15 years to life. After Vince's sentence was handed down I have no respect for the guy. or the other members of the band. Tommy's continual domestic violence, To this day he still says "It was just an accident" What a loser. Nikki Sixx background would be too long to mention here. Mick Mars, I feel bad for him and he's a great guitarist.
at the time it wasn't it happen in 84 and they only had two albums out at the time most bands don't make that much money on there first few albums
Exactly! If that was an everyday Joe they would be locked up indefinitely!
I was living in Providence when the night club fire happened. After that a LOT of venues stopped allowing cigs (which wasnt the cause of the fire) and the news talked about this every day for the next year plus as the law suits started happening. What a nightmare. The light show they tried pulling off in this little shit hole of a bar was just ridiculously stupid. People died due to stupidity.
If you're high or drunk and you kill someone, that should be a life sentence. Not 30 days.
yeah, what the hell?
#1 80s hairstyles
That one person that clapped when the guy says how many times he had been arrested. Lol
Still blows my mind that Vince did almost no time in prison. He drove drunk and caused the death of a person. He got that slap on the wrist because he was famous. Any ordinary person would have been charged to the fullest extent.
Glitter back in prison again
for what reason?
@@abrahamlupis9354 For apparently going on the Dark Web or for downloading Snapchat to talk to his wife who is in Cuba.

How awful that so many artists go too far.

"Y'know, guys, it was an accident and, uh... you can't blame me for what happened when I was drunk."
Also, Tommy Lee should've been indicted for writing and performing the song "Brandon" in a concert setting.
Gary Glitter was a 70's rock star. His "success" in the 80's was non-existent. Even in the UK.
but he commited a terrible crime that surpassed many other rock stars, that's why he's here
Whist he didn't have any hits in the 80s he had a revival in his career though it was mainly the novelty value, I saw him when he supported Status Quo in 1984 and again in 1996 when he appeared with The Who in their performance of Quadrophenia at the Princes Trust concert in Hyde Park, London.
He was a cult artist during the eighties and nineties.
How has there never been a G.G. Allen movie made? I'd love to see an actor go as method as possible and just get real screwed up lol.
I'd pay to see that
Got a point there

Rick James was such a phenomenal musician and an amazing songwriter, he let the partying and bullshit get the best of him, it’s a shame that people will remember him for the controversy (be it true or false) and not enough for the great music.
Nah... people don't remember him because of the controversy, they remember him because of the Chappelle Show.

Was curious to see if the Hanoi Rocks/Vince Neil incident would appear. Glad to see it did. Also, glad to see WatchMojo dropping "Top" from the title.
They went meta on themselves after posting Watchmojo lists that don't exist anymore (and other topics related to it)

It would have to be a Top 20 list

Maybe one of Vince will admit that he fucked up and hurt alot of people with his self indulgent attitude towards everyone else, Mick is the only member who shows any respect
Great White inclusion was odd, it wasn't really their fault.
Dude...it's a pretty big stretch calling G.G. Allin a "rock star"...
How about Mark Michals of Faster Pussycat who was arrested for shipping heroin to himself.
I was seriously beginning to doubt Vince Neil would be mentioned for a minute there. What he did is unforgivable, Mötley Crue front man or not.
Should do a list of ppl who attempted to flee the country?
1. Lou Pearlman (2007)
2. Elizabeth holmes(bought 1-way tickets to Mexico)
3. ......
George Michaels in that “ lewd conduct” incident in the men’s restroom was pretty big news back then !
There is no such person as George Michaels. No singer, anyway.
@@IrishScribblerOMG, your technicality is unbearable and unappreciated
5:53 seems as if they purposely cut the audio short😂
I can never look at Rick James without seeing dave Chappelle shouting "I'M RICK JAMES BITCH"!
Motley Crue is three dirtbags and a talented musician. Now that Mick is gone, they had to hire another talented musician to carry the band for a while. Also, I'm a member of the Crockett family (descended from David's brother John) and I really don't think Ozzy belongs on this list.
Ozzy trying to kill Sharon actually makes sense
😂 This made me chucke. Lol
Being a convicted pedophile is worse then anything gg alin ever did, and Tommy Lee and Nikki sixx and Vince neil put together, there's not enough punishment in the world for pedophiles
Neither is worse than the other, but imagine defending drunk driving 🤡👎
It was cool waking up in the 80's and seeing your local little city made it onto Mtv News for rock star non sense
Do you happen to be from S.A? I grew up 60 mls from there and heard that story all through my adolescence. 😂😂😂
@@susanmenn5016 no, springfield mass ... sebastian bach got arrested for throwin a bottle into the crowd that hit some girl
Lol, Timmy and Nikki arrested in NC. 😂
Gary Glitter in the thumbnail
If you’re wondering: drugs.
fame
all in all Sebastian is a good dude.. he was just sick of being disrespected is all.. security should have been doing their job and this would have been dealt with proper
That whole situation started with nikki sixx and tommy lee cause that one particular security gaurd was beating up a woman.
While I like Rick James a lot, he’s not 80’s rock. He started his career in the 60’s and had already reached fame in the 70’s. Plus he’s not rock, he’s R&B and Funk.
To me, Gary Glitter looks like a Captain EO cosplay gone wrong with mixture of Elvis
Count Dankular does a good Mad Lads on GG Allin.
The person who threw the glass bottle should have been the one arrested, someone could've been killed from that shattered glass.
People get their lives ruined over doing drugs meanwhile you can get 5 years for kidnapping and torturing someone. The justice system is a joke.
no mention of Mayhem? have you seen the cover of "Dawn of the Black Hearts"?
Someone please tell Sloan to do a video on Gary Glitter
why his crimes have been reported on by a million different news sites and youtube channels so they would report nothing new
Oh no… starting with the “if you like what you hear…” again 😢
G.G.
try using Google! Garry Glitter had NO hits in the 1980s only in the 1970s. 4 albums released and hit singles between 72 to 77. although he did release 1 album in the 80s there was no hits from it no any hit singles. His crimes are well beyond terrible!
That's so pedantic its hardly worth mentioning
@@blackguyofthesouth2161 initially i thought so too, but when to another "star" it was said that most of their hits were in the 70s i thought why not his. and not pedantic just accurate
When it comes to Motley Crue and how terrible everything was for them and all the shit they did, just watch the movie The Dirt from 2019. It details the beginning of the band to what was their modern days
Gary Glitter’s song Rock and Roll Part 2 was released in 1972, not the 80s.
Here's to all the punk rockers that didn't expect gg Allin to be on the list... and were also slightly offended they call him a "rock figure" .. and to all the others that have noooo idea who he is. ... actually, just here's to everyone.
. . Why would they let such a animal like Gary Glitter out is mind boggling. Who did he pay off? Hes a disgusting predator that will continue to molest children. How do they just let him out when he has ruined so many innocent childrens lives. I pray for his victims.
At 3:25, that was actually hilarious! 😂
Speaking of Nikki Sixx and Tommy Lee. Let’s not forget the time, in 1987, when they got arrested in Tokyo for throwing Jack Daniel’s bottles against the window of a Bullet Train.
And it’s worth mentioning that the time Nikki told the crowd to beat up that security guard and calling him the N-word, they stopped the show because they saw that security guard beating some girl in the crowd. Like that’s okay? There’s two sides to every story!!!!
I really can't believe that they committed those crimes
You had to see it coming with Gary glitter" do you want to touch me"there?where?there?
How could you begin this video with Judas Priest and not use a clip from "Breaking the Law"?
oh shit! its Fayne!
It's nice for me to hear of them!
Ozzy threatens to kill a girl Sebastian hits a girl Axle hits a girl.
The bitch of a woman hit Axl first though and threatened him before any of it happened
yeah But Varg and Necrobutcher intentionally murdered people
Fuckin bullshit that Sebastian Bach got arrested for that. Someone through the bottle at him first. Thats assault. UNPROVOKED, too. What would you do if someone did that to you? It's unfortunate that the throw back hit the wrong fan, but I say the retaliation was justified.
They behave like children, like Axel has been living the Rock and roll life all his life,he must have been seductive kid since he raised himself on rock and roll 😂
Must be nice to be a celebrity, justice is "different" for them
The most heinous 80s crime is all that AQUA NET in their hair. Especially the male rockers.
