What fangames should I play next? I really enjoyed making this video, it's not going to replace the variety content on the channel (and uploads will be more frequent from here on out), but I'd love to make it a series that I can come back to every so often, especially if there are great experiences out there like some of what I played in this video. Thanks so much for the support!!

Distrust 2 the cooler edition is a MUST PLAY! While the dialogue refuses to take itself seriously, the quality very high in terms of graphics, musics, and gameplay! Dusttale: Last Genocide is good too, but it's quite tough.

Whenever I see Dusttale I flex that Evan(the creator)’s Mom was one of my homeroom teachers in Highschool. I found out when I downloaded Dusttale in the Computer Lab and one of Evan’s friends told me it was his game.
Felt amazing having a moment like that, I even clarified it with his mom to make sure. I never met Evan himself but knowing I was that close to a major fan-game creator was awesome, especially one as badass as Dusttale.

I love these games, I’ve only ever seen one other person playing any of these. It’s a nice change of pace from the rest of your content. Not that the rest of your content isn’t fun to watch, it’s just nice to watch something different for a change.

you should try dusttale: last genocide (the HD one that is like a remake) a sequel to dusttale, is ultra high quality and has the best hitboxes i've seen in a long time, the problem is that it is REALLY hard, but most fangames nowadays are ridiculously hard anyways.
I would say last genocide is hard but forgiving than most hard fangames
Calling last genocide hard these day are very laughable... even shanghavaina now consider easy. I consider EDGEEDGETALE hazard level 6. Or delirium of aeons: silence echo wave function collapse difficulty what I consider hard nowadays.
@@thecreator9836 well my skill level at games is that of a normal person so I'd say it's hard.. Anyways, something doesn't instantly stop being difficult if something even more difficult appears, it's just that it stops being RELATIVELY difficult.

@@thecreator9836 yeah, "high tier", I guess the best way to tier this is whatever you said, the "hazard level 6" thing, I think numbers are a good way to quantify difficulty.
You messed up your geno run in TS! Underswap, that was a neutral one.
If you really want to, I really reccomend doing it. It's like Undertale's, and there's some new content. I think the only rule was to clear out the area before the Ruined Knights but I don't exactly remember.
Also, good game to check out: Don't Forget. It even has multiplayer, although they were going to close it, so it might only be privates now,

If you plan on doing this again, I know of some good fangames and mods you could try out. I’d recommend the mod Bits and Pieces. It’s the base game of Undertale but in HD with added content. It’s not complete yet, it only goes to the Mettaton fight, but I’d recommend it. Though, if you’re looking for an actual separate game, could I tell you about Deltatraveler? It’s a fangame where Kris and Susie find themselves fallen down into the world of Undertale, with some amazing boss battles and some kinda cool secrets hidden throughout. I’d highly recommend both, the people making them are amazing, yeah. If you plan on doing this again, those are my recommendations.

@Marc, yeah, I’m probably gonna edit or delete my comment. I’m all for separating creator and creation, like with any other drama I learn about, but you’re right. Also, is it just me or does the Undertale fanbase create a lot of unnecessary drama? I get that in some more recent ones, like BnP, it’s an unforgivable thing, but why does it happen so often for Undertale?
Temmie being Flowey was delightfully chilling. Especially the part where she suddenly starts speaking in proper sentences and you know something is wrong.

DustTale has a secret pacifist ending. Just try to do what a pacifist would do. Emphasis on "try".
Calling dusttale glitchy compared to scrapmton or bad monday would be unfair, since the dates of release of these games vary from many years prior to each other and their own software's updated, and dusttale didn't have as much of a development team as the other games either
I get that now! I wasn't judging things fairly because I was unfamiliar with the fangame scene, honestly. These are the ones people recommended, so I played them! In the future I'll take that into account

As a big fan of Chapter Rewritten, here’s my personal opinion on the official Scampton fight they made (ignoring basic stuff about the AU like characters and such):
Pros:
-Great dialog
-Great spritework
-Great balance
-Great attacks
-Great mechanics
-Great soul mode
-Really captures the vibe of deltᴀrune
-Doesn’t feel the need to incorporate Chapter 2 mechanincs (as Scampton is the Rewritten Chapter 1 boss)
-WAY more balanced than Jevil
-Incorporates many attack ideas from both Jevil and Spamton (Pick a [Kaard] is literally Devilsknife but WAY more consistant)
Cons:
-Some of the references are outdated (the freedom theme isn’t being used anymore, Pick a [Kaard] doesn’t make sence since Graphix Kaard (The name for Rouxls’s swap with Swatch) is from Chapter 2, etc. (Not to say this is the game’s fault, most of the early Junkil (Rewritten Jevil) media references Seam instead of his Rewritten version, Nito))
-A few smaller aspects of the game are a little off from the real deltᴀrune
-A few animations have to many frames to feel like they’re from UNDERTALE but too few frames to feel like they’e from deltᴀrune
-The only reward for beating no-hit mode is a Pizza Tower GIF
-𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝚖𝚞𝚜𝚒𝚌𝚒𝚊𝚗
I will not elaborate on him. [[BIG BANG]] is a good song, but I just really hope they update the game when V2 comes out, because even though (Name withheld) didn’t have that much impact on the actual music, he still took credit for someone else’s work, tried to retcon other people out of the community, and he’s a (REDACTED). The song’s been delisted from SoundCloud (unlike both his other stolen song, Battle Against the World and the now outdated 1st version of I CAN Y̴̘͘O̶U ̴̛̲̓C̶̭͒̿Ḁ̷̖̒N̵̻̽̊ (which he also tried to steal, making a cover of the original for “V2” and a worse cover for “V3”, but luckily the original was never delisted, and hopefully the REAL V2 gets listed soon)). Basically (Name withheld) was a bad person, did bad things, wrote about wanting to hurt himself in the descriptions of his Chapter Rewritten songs, and was a (REDACTED) who used blackmail and physical abuse to get (REDACTED) from (REDACTED).

When it comes to games that have already been mentioned in the comments that you should check out I would recommend Deltatraveler and UNDERTALE Bits and Pieces. Neither of these games are finished yet but Deltatraveler has 2/7 finished chapters and Bits and Pieces goes until MTT EX.
But when it comes to games that have not been mentioned I would recommend the playable chapters from INVERTED FATE wich a sprite comic in a similar format to Homestuck and also my favorite UNDERTALE AU. I would recommend reading the comic offline for context (or on camera if you would like that. I wanted to see someone react to the full comic anyway.) and then playing the playable chapters when you have gotten to those chapters in the comic. The concept is basically „What if Asriel won the battle in the pacifist route and accidentally glitched out the world while resetting and mixed up the lost souls TS!UNDERSWAP-style.“ The comic took me over 2 days to binge so if you choose to read it you’ll be stuck reading it for a long time if you don’t sit down for an entire weekend to binge all of it at once. The comic kinda looks like if someone took a screenshot of every text box and line of dialogue in the entire game. There are some chapters in video format. The story, writing and humor meets Toby Fox‘s standards and I think anyone who likes UNDERTALE and doesn’t mind reading dialogue would enjoy it. But since it’s a comic that hasn’t been dubbed on UA-cam it isn’t really that popular. INVERTED FATE is found on it’s own website wich I won’t be naming here to prevent this comment from being deleted. I‘m sure you’ll find it if you search for it on UA-cam or on your browser. The comic isn’t done yet and new chapters are being released every few months. One of the people from Team Switched actually helped with an animated chapter of INVERTED FATE.
The only finished full fangame is Overtime if I remember correctly, hopefully all those fangames that started in 2015-2016 get finished by next year

Dusttale always has been one of my favorites as it was the first fan game I played and which made me fall into the rabbit hole that is Undertale AUs even more. Plus Sans snapping and becoming a homicidal maniac is such an interesting concept especially with Papyrus's reaction, he still has confidence in his brother even though he knows he's going to be the one that kills him, all for something he doesn't understand but still has faith that his brother knows best.

Glitchtale used to be great but the final season felt a little eh story wise, most fight scenes were still top notch though.
one small thing I feel like it's important to mention is, "Camila Cuevas" (the creator of the series) got into some drama involving her discord server, I'd recommend watching a video on the situation, it's rough knowing about it.

You actually did the Neutral Route in TS!Underswap. Ik that I am probably not the first one to say it but it would be cool to see the right genocide route, because there is way more unique stuff there. And there are also cool things in the pacifist route to do so yeah would be nice to see more TS!Underswap too.
I played Scamton thr Great because of this video, and its so good! It feels like an actual Jevil level difficulty fight for me (Jevil is still the hardest fight currently across Undertale and Deltarune, and its a fight that i wouldn't dream doing without healing, let alone damageless, but is still extremely well balanced and fun. So Scamton the Great is that again but new lmao) i really like parying in video games since learning about how to do it in Pizza Tower so im glad i got some of that itch scratched to. Probably the best single fight Deltarune/Undertale Fan game I've ever played, although i obviously haven't played them all. Incredibly balanced, fun, wacky, and i highly recommend it 10/10

Underswap is *so* good. It actually had a bigger impact on me than undertale did, bc I'd already seen so many people play UT by the time i was able to. I did genocide in undertale but i don't think i ever could for underswap

I love how spamton the great uses papyrus font when saying the great. SNOwgrave neo should've used comic sans when saying "don't you know how to greet a new pal"

The soundtrack is just generic, offkey midi edits. Art was literally traced & stolen. The story makes no sense whatsoever while also not being original in the slightest. Speaking of originality, it has none of it. It steals ideas from ULB & Dusttrust and that's it. Seriously. And the code is laughable, I've seen it.
Being called a fan of this game would literally be an insult considering all that.

My friend actually helped to play test Dusttale, and is good friends with the guy who created it!! I've been trying to play it for the past month and can't get past the final battle 😅 But it's a lot of fun!! Highly recommend it!!

I forgot there is a UA-camr name "Teach tale", they have more information about Dust Sans.
Dust Sans would be more correct in the fandom, because what goes before the name normally is the AU the character is from, like TS!UnderSwap sans is TS!Swap Sans, inktale sans is Ink Sans, etc
