My new tool arrived today from Walther. I tried it, and Chaz is correct. New tool works much better than old one. Length helps, the fit is better, and as a result, take down is a breeze. I can get the slide off in one try now. If you have a CCP, do yourself a favor and get the tool.
I will have to get one. My original tool wore out literally the first time I was using it, and at that time I found a regular ball point pen tip worked better. Still use a ball point, works like a charm.
Of course, Adrian; I put that video up TWO YEARS ago. Clearly the M2 resolves that problem. Congrats on getting the M2. CCP Still among the best ergonomics in the handgun universe.
Thank you for making this video. Taking your advice, I asked Walther for the new takedown tool, and it is on its way!
You're quite welcome. Now that the CCP M2 is out I may be back in the CCP fold for my wife's EDC. I switched to the PPS M2 and love it.

Thanks for taking the time to make this video.
Thanks for the kind words, Donn!
My pleasure!

Juan: Glad you liked it. The extra length is really a big help.
Thank you sir, I own a CCP and did not know they offered one. Good job on your first video!
Great info. i need one of those tools for my CCP. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, just got my replacement today.
Thanks for the info. I'll go get one of those.
message to Walther, glad to see that you are improving the CCP ......When can we expect these modified takedown tools be included with new pistols ?
Adrian, not sure Walther monitors this UA-cam channel. Your query would be better put in an email to walther@waltherarms.com
Chaz Cone thank you Chaz....will send them a line.
Thanks but dont need one......getting an M2.

That's exactly what I did, Adrian!
