The following is what i see as canon; freddy is michael, since he somehow died and his soul attached to freddy, for no specific reason, gregory is evans animatronic version with evans soul inside, the others dont have souls, they have personality. And Vanessa and vanny are the same person but different bodies, theyre different versions of older elizebeth, since william made animatronic versions of her after her death, same with evan, though he made gregory braver and not cry 24/7, and he made eliz blonde like her mother, makes so much more sense
