I am on government assistance but I work I bust my ass and I’m not having any more children until I get a better job or I get married to someone and then we have two incomes and can afford another child. a lot of people just have more kids because they’re irresponsible and because they’ll get more benefits from the government, but living in poverty or being poor or not having a lot of money doesn’t mean people can act like this person in this episode when me and my older brother were little, we lived in Milwaukee and we literally lived in the projects in a shitty ass two bedroom apartment with me and my brother and my two parents my mom and dad and my mom made that apartment looks so nice and didn’t let us mess around and destroy stuff. My mom would always say we live here, but we do not own this place we rent this place.

100% I needed help but I was too embarrassed to ask because of this very reason, I had friends who would have more babies so they would get more money on their welfare checks to buy designer clothing while living off of their mom. Exactly!! As a property manager of 12 years for low income housing SEC 8 residents are always the MOST problematic. SEC 8 does nothing and the resident doesn’t get penalized whatsoever. That’s why they keep up this behavior; they move to another property and keep their sec 8 benefits. This year I had to evict a resident for not paying their $53.00 rent payment for a year.

There are people who have rent control or section 8 places because they have special needs like for example learning disabilities or brain injuries. But there are woman like this who have kids so that they can have their way paid through life.

I used to have Section 8 Housing, and you have to abide by a lot of strict rules. You can’t have extra people living in your house. You can’t have it dirty. Also, an inspector comes by from time to time to make sure your house is clean, the appliances work, and everything is in order. You have to be very responsible while being on this program.
It sounds like you did everything right. Some people don’t. My husband treats section 8 housing for bugs. He says there will be places you could eat off the floor. That the tenants are proud of what they have …but some just live slovenly. It’s character not $$.

Her children aren’t trained properly. I have (6), all grown now but, neighbor’s didn’t know that I had children until we were out and about. All that screaming and jumping around destroying property WAS NOT TOLERATED!!!
Exactly I come from a blended family of 8 kids and we never destroyed our house. It’s called discipline and structure if you’re house is getting destroyed because of a ball in the house you tell your kids don’t play the ball in the house if they play with it in the house you take the ball away. Contrary to what some people seem to believe it’s not abuse to have your kids doing chores.
There should be a law for mandatory tube tied after 4 children. 8 kids and on government support? Disturbing. 😮
Should be limited to 2, and there should be a limit as to how long you can be in welfare. Those who do not work shall not eat - scripture says this and there is truth to it.

I used to have Section 8 Housing, and you have to abide by a lot of strict rules. You can’t have extra people living in your house. You can’t have it dirty. Also, an inspector comes by from time to time to make sure your house is clean, the appliances work, and everything is in order. You have to be very responsible while being on this program.
Those rules are rarely enforced.
And people violate those rules daily and destroy entire neighborhoods while having very little consequences
It sounds like you did everything right. Some people don’t. My husband treats section 8 housing for bugs. He says there will be places you could eat off the floor. That the tenants are proud of what they have …but some just live slovenly. It’s character not $$.

I know someone like this. Let her and her 2 kids live in my apartment for a few months while I was in a new home. When she moved out I swear it looked like a dumpster. At that very moment I realized that some people live extremely dirty. Like I'm talking about the apartment looked like a hoarders house. Lesson learned!!

My parents rented to section 8 families for a few years in NYC and their experience was terrible. I hate to say it but it’s very hard to find section 8 renters who will not destroy your home. Every single one was the tenant from hell smh.
I'm on his and leave any place in perfect order. One mostly hears of those who are not nice to themselves or others who destroy a place. I'm older, but helped raise in my place(with the landlords permission) and there were no issues with the child. SMH not everyone is bad.
