There is, in fact, gravity in space and everywhere in the universe, with calculated force F = Gmm/r-squared. If there were no gravity in space, there would be no orbits around the sun. The planets would just fly off into nowhere.
Actually it makes more sense that if your power was to increase gravity you could attract some unwanted objects to yourself...like a star crashing down on your head.
I love how chill Mega Man 5's music is in comparison to the rest of the series. Of course I love the adrenaline-pumping action stuff too, but sometimes taking a more relaxed approach can be equally effective. Mari Yamaguchi knows her stuff.
0:40 - 1:07 is perhaps the most slow-burning, eerie section of music across Mega Man's NES soundtracks. Really fantastic harmonies, Yamaguchi KNEW her music theory.
I think both 5 and 1 are underrated. 1 is very unpolished, but has a lot of really great elements. 5 is IMO the most polished, and improves a lot from 4. 4 gets overrated, and 6 gets a bit more hate than it deserves, but still isn't really that great. 5 and 1 are legitimately fun in their own ways, though very different.
Chris Wood The level design is pretty good, I’ll admit. But the music and especially the weapons aren’t as good as 6, in my honest opinion. The cool and catchy music, stellar weapons (no pun intended) and fun levels are what make Mega Man 6 my absolute favourite in the classic series and in my top 3 Mega Man games period!
Mi childhood! ❤️ This series 5 was the one that introduced me to the world of this incredible character. And its soundtrack at each level, something that has given each game much more power. A masterpiece 👌🏼❤️
It's REALLY good. I'm taking another listen....again after some years. Always been biased towards MM2/3, but I'm really starting to dig other games music from the series. This is actually a top 10 (maybe top 5) theme.
If I were to turn the classic series Megaman games into a series of stage musicals, this would definitely turn out to be one of the best numbers of 5. I mean, it just SOUNDS like an epic villain song!!
Gravity Man is the best Megaman 5 robot master. You cannot change my mind. Edit: Jesus the amount of arguing in the replies. Anyways my point still stands today.
funny... while playing all these MM games as a kid on the nes an snes was some of the best times ever...2 things - while playing a great action platformer / secretly enjoying how this game doubled as a soundtrack.. and they laughed at me for recording these on cassette and bumping my music on long trips..
4 clearly has the worst overall soundtrack. One of the better songs, Ring Man's, is just a variation on Cuts Man's. The sound quality is also very strange in 4. Instruments cut out, and some songs sound a little incomplete. I also think 3 has the best soundtrack, but 5 is much improved from 4.
Funny, I think MM5 soundtrack is the worst and I’d say MM2 is probably the best. I could not remember a single track from this game but I remember like half of them from MM4, pretty much all of them for MM2, most from MM3, all from MM6 expect the Wily stages, and even some from MM. Even listening to MM5’s soundtrack now I’m finding most of them to be incredibly disappointing.
@@TheTyckyngTymeBomb Dude the game has much better colors, gameplay, graphics, animations and gimmicks than the previous games, how is that bland. Also the charged shot has always been really weak so it's nice to have a game where it's actually useful.
@@krilinz4331 The presentation doesn’t mean nearly as much as the other stuff in the grand scheme of things. The charge shot is so overpowered that it kills everything so you don’t actually have to pay attention to the game, and the only interesting gimmick is Gravity Man’s. Also how is the charge shot weak in 4?
@@TheTyckyngTymeBomb Well it's weak in the sense that it doesn't kill most enemies in 1 hit unlike Mega Man 5. Also you're talking about not having to "pay attention to the game", but you can do the same in the previous games lol, just mindlessly bash through everything, avoid some enemies or tank a little damage. You're calling this game bland but I can't see anything in this game that the previous games did better. If this game was Mega Man 1 and then the other NES games came after it, they would be called hollow downgrades and bashed, for sure (except MM6)
@@krilinz4331 What’s bland is the level design. And if you could just mindlessly go through every level in every game then way less people would like Mega Man
One of the moust incredible thing in Game World, is how amazing the old/classic things becomes so awesome when they remake it with all the tecnologi and stuffs that we have today... taking this OST here... that is so great the way that it already is, BUT... when you realize that they remade it and it becomes THIS: ua-cam.com/video/VUS-R6h_FM0/v-deo.html DAMN GOD !!! ITS SO AMAZING !!!!!
This tune is amazing, but the level was disappointingly short with no real challenges. It had so much wasted potential with the cool gravity reversal gimmick.
I can still hardly believe this masterpiece is just NES Chip tune music...
My current theory on Gravity Man's weakness to Star Crash: There is no gravity in space.
true.
Of course there's gravity in space...
Don't go blowing my mind like that😂

Then it breaks down into an absolute batshit solo as if she was daring some to even try to transpose it. The bassline is nuts too.
Mega man 5 is underrated, definitely one of the best in the series. Gravity Man's tune is great also.
if I ever buy a physical NES, I'll get MM5 as my first game
So true!

Even though I find Mega Man 5's OST to be a bit underwhelming, words cannot describe how much I LOVE Gravity Man's theme. Is soooo damn good.

agreed on both parts
Ending theme and intro theme are actually amazing.
I only like half of the Mega Man 5 ost but the ones I like are some of the best tunes I've heard on the NES.
Disagree about the soundtrack underwhelming this one is one of best in the series my opinion, but to each their own.
0:40 Is so great
I can't express my joy for there being a Mega Man themed Master Spirit in SSBU. And they represented him so well!

Gravity Man is the best Megaman 5 robot master. You cannot change my mind.

Anyways my point still stands today.
We can't cange your mind. But we can change gravity.
*Star Man*
*Wave Man*
*Gyro Man*
hmmmmm
Convincing, but my point still stands
Gravity Man has to be my favorite MM5 Robot Master, design-wise. Plus, who else can find a way to weaponize GRAVITY?!
Ochako from mha
0:40 - 1:07 is so awesome!
The part right after tho!!! Sheeeeeeesh
That is my favorite part

High key one of the best tracks of all 6 NES Mega Mans
This is one of the best tracks of the ost.

So that’s why they remixed it for Smash 😁

Mega man isn’t made by Nintendo. Capcom owns the Mega Man franchise as well as Street Fighter and Resident Evil.

Every Mega man theme is perfect for playing in a rock band
Yeah Megan is great, she should make more music.

Maybe the series could be called Rockman... Wait it is called that in Japan

It's true, an epic rock band
Meganman is like megaman but with mediocre music you hear on top 40 radio stations.
How is this not one of the best mega man themes
*singing* oh what a feeling when we're dancing on the ceiling
Hot take. This game has good music. Especially this Star Man and Napalm man
