1. Be friends with Luna. I love Harry too but I just feel like Luna would agree to be my friend faster since I’m a Slytherin. Harry and his Gryffindor friends are kinda distrustful of Slytherins (which I completely understand because a lot of Slytherins during Harry’s time at Hogwarts were mean) and it would be difficult to even start a conversation with Harry - he’s always around someone and I have social anxiety. Luna’s not so popular and she’s not judgmental. I could start a conversation about something random with her and she wouldn’t be like ”Hey- Oh. You’re a Slytherin. What do you want?” Besides, if I was a friend of Luna first, maybe I’d eventually get to know Harry too and it would be easier for him to trust me. 2. Fail potions. 1. Be friends with Luna. I love Harry too but I just feel like Luna would agree to be my friend faster since I’m a Slytherin. Harry and his Gryffindor friends are kinda distrustful of Slytherins (which I completely understand because a lot of Slytherins during Harry’s time at Hogwarts were mean) and it would be difficult to even start a conversation with Harry - he’s always around someone and I have social anxiety. Luna’s not so popular and she’s not judgmental. I could start a conversation about something random with her and she wouldn’t be like ”Hey- Oh. You’re a Slytherin. What do you want?” Besides, if I was a friend of Luna first, maybe I’d eventually get to know Harry too and it would be easier for him to trust me.
2. Fail potions. I hate how Snape favours students from his own house and humiliates other students, especially Gryffindors, publicly in class. I’m against unfair treatment like that. If failing potions means that I don’t have to go to Snape’s class anymore, it’s definitely worth it. I don’t want to watch the head of my house being an awful example of a teacher. It would make me feel bad for the students that Snape makes fun of, like Neville for an example. I would never be one of those Slytherin students laughing and supporting Snape.
