Pacquiao at nearly 41, just beat one of the top guys in a very stacked division, knocking him down in the process. Thurman at 30 is in the sweet spot of his prime years and was an undefeated champion, but he couldn't handle Pacquiao. He began at 16 as a professional. literally starving so he had to hide weight in his pockets to qualify for the 105 lb. minimum requirement. Pacquiao was 2 years older then that, 6" taller, yet weighed only 9 lbs. more then the smallest freshman in my school. He was fighting pro fighters with experience that were 105 lbs., a size disadvantage that he has carried with him until this day. What was one of the issues talked about before the Thurman fight? Keith was a naturally much bigger man. The same is true for Margarito, Clottey, Cotto, Floyd, Hatton, Oscar De La Hoya and others. I remember his first huge win against Barrera, one of the commentators right away called Barrera the bigger man, and he was. Pacquiao left the Philippines fighting at 112, then he was a fill-in in his first fight here after only 10 days notice against a champion that had successfully defended 6 times. Pacquiao jumped from 112 to 122 for that fight and stopped the guy, taking his belt. After stopping 2 more opponents he fought the great Barrera, moving up to Barrera's natural weight at 126, stopping him as well. He stopped a couple more opponents, then moved up to LW at 135, stopping the champion in that division. It turns out that nobody could beat him in the ring during this period, so the judges stepped in to 'beat' him by committing one of the biggest robberies ever when they gave Bradley a split decision win in Pacquiao next fight. They polled about 100 sports writers after the fight,...….., it was nearly a unanimous call for Pacquiao, the average score was about 8 rounds to 4 in his favor. It was an incredible run, interrupted by corruption, but what an exciting time that was for boxing fans. After suffering a knockout loss to Marquez, Pacquiao began another run in which he's gone 8-2, with both losses being questionable. In my opinion since Pacquiao arrived in the U.S. he's had 37 fights and he should be 35-2 in those fights, losing to Marquez in a fight in which he was beating Marquez up, and losing to Morales by 3 scores of 115-113,.....a fight in which Pacquiao had blood pouring down his face and could only see out of one eye for the last 6 rounds. IMO, those are his only 2 losses since coming here. I think he beat Floyd, despite being at every disadvantage that Floyd could orchestrate. 35 wins of 37 fights against tough opponents is a hell of an accomplishment. He won a total of 11 titles, and he stands alone in boxing history as the only fighter to win 8 division titles and a title in 4 of the original 8 weight divisions. I believe that all of the great fighters in history would trade everything they won during their career if they could have their name in the record books along side that accomplishment. '

I'm so inspired at the rate of Pacquiao's learning curve. Judging from the way his trainer Freddy Roach is so happy about him, it just goes to show how humble Pacquiao is because he listens to his trainer. And he keeps on learning.

Lennox is some kind of a fair guy despite being black, he is a real boxing artist and a fan coz he understands fan perception to a real fight!! thumbs up to lenox lewis and the rest of you there talking.
The reason why Pac is bold, fearless but humble and God fearing because he is the great great grand son of the heroes Lapu Lapu. If you want to know about that name, go to google and search "Lapu Lapu the heroes"
The question is, "Regardless of weight class, who's your favorite fighter to watch right now?" Neither of them stated who they supported or who they thought was best. Liking to watch a fighter doesn't translate into that fighter being the best.
Collingoat: I agree with you 100%, every word you said. I am a Pacquiao fan, after hearing, I didn't see the last Marquez fight, I am starting to worry also about Mayweather, But everyone has a nemesis or an opponent whose style they have trouble with. And maybe Marquez is Pacquiao's nemesis. But Mayweather got the win against Castillo on the scorecards and I haven't heard one person think that Mayweather beat him in the first fight they had. And I bet Pacquiao would have beaten Castillo

Oh right, not near 75%.
I can’t agree more
Lennox is some kind of a fair guy despite being black, he is a real boxing artist and a fan coz he understands fan perception to a real fight!! thumbs up to lenox lewis and the rest of you there talking.
I agree with all of them.
this vid's awsome, can't wait for pac to be fight night's cover
that's my boy manny....
oooooppppss.... did they say 'i like watching floyd jr' ??
hell noo!
Hahahaha...hell noo!!!
Lennox: exiting figther and "you know he's[pacman] not gonna run around"
so which fighter is known for running around ?
The reason why Pac is bold, fearless but humble and God fearing because he is the great great grand son of the heroes Lapu Lapu. If you want to know about that name, go to google and search "Lapu Lapu the heroes"
GOAT
Go PacMan, MANNY!! MANNY!! MANNY!! ..
PACMAN = HALL OF FAMER
they all like manny yeah!
Hey Champs! just curious, have you heard a guy called Floyd Mayweather jr?
you're all right, boring is to FM
