I had one and mine was the GT Wagon. One sweet car! It was like a mini Camaro but I liked it better! Looking back I think a Turbo charged V6 would have been the best option. Get the power and still handle OK. Mine was a 4 speed.

That sounds like an amazing ride! The GT Wagon version definitely had that unique charm-like a compact muscle car with great style and performance. I agree, a turbocharged V6 would’ve been a fantastic option, giving it that extra punch while keeping it agile. A 4-speed definitely added to the fun factor. Thanks for sharing your experience, it’s always great to hear from someone who’s actually owned such a cool car

The roof from the front screen to the trunk lid looks similar to our mid 70's holden toranas

That’s a great observation! 😄 The roofline of the Motion Vega definitely has that similar look to the mid-'70s Holden Toranas. Both cars have that distinct, compact profile that was so popular back then. Thanks for sharing your thoughts - it's always cool to hear comparisons like this from car enthusiasts! 🚗💨

Why do you keep showing other cars, instead of the Vega?

I was wondering the same thing. That's a pretty common practice for videos with a robo narrator (but better than most fake voices for pronunciation).

My dream Vega build would be the 472hp 3.6L twin turbo V6 from the CT4-V & a wide body kit.

Thanks for your feedback! I included the other cars to provide context and show how the Vega compared to other vehicles of its time, but I totally understand your focus on the Vega itself. I’ll make sure to highlight it more in future videos. Appreciate your input!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! You're right-using a robo-narrator can sometimes lead to a bit of a disconnect with the main content, but I’m glad you found the pronunciation to be better than usual. I’ll definitely keep that in mind to make sure the focus stays on the video’s main subject. Appreciate the feedback

Unless a V8 Vega had a lot of suspension work, they never hooked up. I ran a Vega that had a tunnel rammed sbc with my BBC '68 Corvette. I gave him 4 cars and passed him at the top of 2nd gear and put 5 on him in 3rd gear.

That’s an awesome story! 😎 You’re absolutely right - without serious suspension work, the Vega’s power was hard to manage. It sounds like your '68 Corvette was a beast! Giving him a 4-car head start and still putting 5 more on him in 3rd gear is impressive! Thanks for sharing that, it’s always great to hear real-world experiences from fellow car enthusiasts! 🚗💨👊
