Majority Rule is Freedom
We gave ranchers and farmers $123 Billion last year in subsidies.
THANK YOU!!! Dude needs to quit whining.
Could be due with Hunters depleting the wolves' food source? Maybe if we roll back the wild game allotment, the wolves won't go for livestock. After all are you really hunting when you use your Ring door camera?
Your not very bright are ya hunters don't hunt In the spring when deer are fawning and elk are calving you city folk will never understand that the Wloves will decimate the
Wildlife population in Colorado
@@loringood6621 "the Wloves will decimate the
Wildlife population in Colorado" That's literally a good thing. It's one of the roles predators play in an ecosystem.
@Redstoneprime316 so you want all wildlife and livestock killed off you are a really sad person even though I hunt I still like seeing deer and elk on the range along with cattle you probably live in a concrete jungle far from nature me growing up with nature understands it better than you ever will
@@loringood6621 I never said that. It seems you lack reading comprehension. Tell me, where in my comment did I say I want wildlife and livestock killed off? The only one who said that is you.
Plus, my information comes from scientists (bioligists, zoologists, etc).
Manifest Destiny no longer protects the few over the majority.
Most of the below posts are obviously from granola head vegans living in the front range cities, probably Boulder.
ive been in rural colorado for 20 years and il tell you what... these whipper snappers are full of it.
Having friends who live less than 2 miles from where they were introduced (with no support from the resident's) this reintroduction was not done with those families/communities in mind. Their children can no longer play outside safely. Their animals (which they have a large variety) are in danger daily and yet those in the cities (front range) who will never deal with the devastating effects of this failed policy, are the ones supporting it the most!
I live in North Dakota and I
agree 100% that city folk will never understand the economic impact of there stupid choice to reintroduce wolves I feel for all of you the ranchers and small communities in Colorado
Technically you're in THEIR habitat lady. Respect what was there before you and what will be there after you're gone. Living in the mountains, you should expect predators around....
You're right, it was done with the ecosystem in mind.
@@loringood6621 Nothing stupid about wanting to restore balance to the ecosystem.
Well your using our public land so... It's not your "backyard".
they feel entitled to it
Alot of these ranchers own their own land.
@@michaelcalles6824 Nope. About 27% of agricultural land in CO is owned. The rest is leased.
@@Reed411 NO ONE owns land. It's all an illusion. We're the only creatures that pay to live on earth. The land will be here long after any human that "owns" land.
@@michaelcalles6824 I feel like they should be protecting their flocks better. 🤷♀️ just sayin lol
I didn’t know wolves hunted cattle. I thought they would hunt smaller game.
Wolves kill everything they can and don't always eat what they kill they come into a flock of sheep and kill most of the flock so wolves are not what you want alot of anywhere in Idaho parents have to be at the school bus stops with guns to protect there children and I know that be true because I worked with people from Idaho
@@loringood6621 Wolves don't kill for sport, that's been debunked.
@Redstoneprime316 no they kill for the pleasure of killing talk to wildlife biologists and ranchers that have seen elk and cattle killed without eating them then back to me on that till then your just reading that online
@@loringood6621 Doug Smith says they don’t, which proves they don't kill for sport.
Time says The team with the fewest points loses.
The state is reimbursing ranchers & farmers for livestock lost. What does he expect... and why can't humans feed wild animals and take care of them?? Wouldn't that encourage them to stay in one area? I'm not talking people setting out food at their homes or while camping. I'm saying stock our rivers and lakes....have feeding areas for predators where meat and/or prey they can eat is left for them. It's the circle of life peeps....we can't have predators in the wild and have no food for them....they will find it somewhere. Bears would also be extremely appreciative of plenty of berry trees and well stocked salmon and trout in lakes/rivers. Sigh...this shouldn't even be news. They're like...."Wolves are acting like wolves and eating where they can find food" to me, it sounds like the ranchers/farmers need to guard their flocks better....or submit for reimbursement from the state. Wolves are natural to our habitat and we have to coexist....please quit the whinging though...and no, killing these poor things before they've even had a chance to repopulate is beyond asinine.
"why can't humans feed wild animals and take care of them??" Because that wouldn't be good for either humans or wildlife. There's a reason if you go on safari in Africa they tell you not to feed the animals.
"have feeding areas for predators where meat and/or prey they can eat is left for them" They already exist. They're called "the wild" (national parks, woodlands, etc).
Put down the Killer Wolf..... Polis is ruining the farmers livelihood. Stop it
