Rhythmic Harmony: Crafting the Aether Collection

A shift has been happening in so many facets of my life and with that shift i’ve evolved the way I work, and that change took time to manifest. And it felt GOOD. Aether is part of this evolution, another step on the journey.
Listening closely to the clay's whispers, I allowed each piece to take shape naturally, embracing its unique character and form. Aether’s voluminous bodies and ribbed textures were loosely inspired by sound waves and seismogram readings. The varying widths of the carved ribs paired with the stark segmented color variations give the these vessels an ancient vibe with a modern twist.
I’m also especially excited to share our new custom bowl/downstems! It took some figuring out to get the fitting just right (clay shrinks as it dries and fires!). The result is perfect and makes these beauties so much more beautiful and easier to clean than when they were attached!
Lastly, I decided to make each of these an original, one-of-a-kind piece. No dupes! What you see is what you get. Check them out!
