- Hey gang! Today, we are not only trying a beer, but we're also trying out a premeditated longer format review! On this inaugural edition of...whatever we're gonna call this, we are trying a beer from the Weldwerks Brewing Company located in Greeley, CO. This is the 2024 vintage of their Vanilla Medianoche which is an imperial/double stout and comes in at 11.9% abv. The description is as follows:
Vanilla Medianoche began with a blend of Medianoche batches aged 21 to 39 months in a myriad of different barrels; Blanton’s Bourbon, Sazerac Rye 18-year Rye, Buffalo Trace Rye, Henry McKenna 10-year Bottled in Bond Bourbon, Law's Whiskey House Rye, Weller 12-year Bourbon, Buffalo Trace Bourbon, and Buzzards Roost Bourbon. Following the blending process, this Imperial Stout was aged on Madagascar Vanilla beans for an additional month to develop deep, rich flavors and aromas. Delight in decadent notes of freshly baked vanilla sponge cake, dry oak, and a hint of milk chocolate, followed by a sweet custard finish.

Richy rich and decadent! Nice 👍 huggin it! Sweet grape jam yum! Oakey dokey! Diggin the complex flavor profile! Leaves a molasses haze to the glass when you drink it… do the creepy guy from poltergeist oh my!! Lol 😂 nice review…cheers guys!
When you say medianoche the e on the end is not silent fyi. Had this beer sent to me from no hype Kyle and it was outstanding beer. But my favorite beer this year is from a collaboration between firestone Walker and weldwerks and it was called parabanoche which was 12 out of 10 great review gang cheers 🍻
