I love how much you improved the quality of this one compared to the first speedrun. And you explaining how the ride cycles and it was really satisfying to watch the Casey jr trains move, and just overall, your skills are improving lots.
so happy for ya! That was fun to watch! One of my favourite ride youtubers. You brought the thrill of the chase, white board commentary, ride history and snacks!
Even as a Disneyland regular, I really appreciate the explainers of each ride to make the video more accessible. I also very much appreciate how you call each attraction by its full and proper name (most of the time :)). The explainer graphics are great. Underrated video from an underrated channel! I felt I had to leave a comment to compliment you as well as hopefully to boost engagement. This took a lot of work.
@@TheTrevProduction Oh I believe you! I know the struggle. Self-promotion: I posted my first theme park video last week (speedrunning Universal), and it tanked.
I really like this channel! You should try to upload more Disneyland stuff more frequently. Maybe even try different challenges, talk about history or talk about Disneyland forward.
YESSS THE KING IS FINALLY BACKK❤❤❤❤ this is edited but trev i actually can not fathom how underrated you are, i love ur vids sm. always entertaining and fun. keep up the good work, ill be here throughout your whole yt career
I think sub-8 is possible • Use Early Entry • Pick a less crowded day • Don’t waste too much time with the Main Street vehicles and get on them first try
I’m currently strategizing on how I’ll ride every ride in both parks on my grad nite trip (I’m currently a senior at a high school in Northern California) The bus leaves from my school at 12:30 AM on Wednesday June 11, 2025, and is scheduled to arrive at 9:00 AM (they scatter arrival times) and at least mine isn’t like 2 PM The strategy is that I would start in California adventure and lightning lane hop across the more popular attractions. Since I won’t be needing to use lightning lanes during the hard-ticketed event, I don’t need to leave myself with lightning lane rides like in a one park speed-run Then at 11 AM I park hop into Disneyland after getting through 5 or 6 major California adventure rides, and then try to blaze through fantasyland in around 1-2 hours. Starting with Peter Pan and waiting like 30 minutes, then Alice in Wonderland in like 25 minutes, I then try to get through fantasyland and possibly stack lightning lanes into toontown (Roger Rabbit and Runaway Railway) and single-rider Matterhorn Casey Jr and Storybook land would be saved for the afternoon with their extra vehicles being deployed, and then I move on to Frontierland, where I eat lunch in the Mark Twain Riverboat…which I HAVE to buy from the park because outside food and drink are banned, so I would have to mobile order food and quickly bring it over to the Mark Twain Riverboat Then I get through the left side of the park in about 4 hours, completing Main Street vehicles as close to closing time as possible, and utilizing single rider for Millenium Falcon, Single pass for Rise of the Resistance, Single rider for Tiana’s, and getting a decent return time for Indiana Jones Sometime around 5 PM? I get through that side and complete fantasyland, chugging through Small World and then entering Tomorrowland and completing Finding Nemo, waiting in a long standby. Then I use up some (hopefully not too hard to get) lightning lanes for the remaining Tomorrowland rides, and eat dinner on the Disneyland railroad or Monorail Sometime between 9 PM and 11 PM, hop into California adventure and complete the remaining rides, without LL, but at limited capacity and I have until 2 AM (but ideally would want to complete before 1 AM). Hopefully the remaining rides don’t take too long to get through The only really difficult parts I can think of are • Fantasyland • Return times for Roger Rabbit and Indiana Jones • Return time for Guardians of the Galaxy These lightning lane strategy guides have been helpful, but I’ll have to see what I can execute on that day
@jamsstats1700 that’s a good plan! I want to do a both parks run eventually as well. Just know that you will be SUPER physically exhausted by the end of this. You don’t want to underestimate that!
Here are some questions I have • If I start the Disneyland part of the run at 11 AM (hopping from California adventure) is it better to do Fantasyland first or last? Would fantasyland be more crowded at 11 AM or at 9 PM? Should I save both Storybook and Casey Jr for the afternoon or just Casey Jr? California adventure will likely be mostly empty during the hard-rocketed event. I won’t need to or be able to use lightning lanes during the event, which I can enter starting at 9:00 PM. Disneyland will likely close at 11 PM that day. Should I lightning lane hop in California adventure in the morning? Or should I stack lightning lanes at Disneyland? I don’t need to leave myself with lightning lane rides during the event, for reasons I’ve already stated. It’s likely that I might be forced to start in California adventure, I’ll get more information later.
@jamsstats1700 I would assume the evening is a better time to do fantasyland, and yes you should wait on both Casey and storybook For your last question I think doing some sort of combination of the 2 is the best idea. I don’t think lightning lane is needed for most of California adventure but for the rides it is needed (toy story, guardians and spider man) you should plan on getting them. But you don’t want to forget about indie and Matterhorn and space mountain (and Tiana’s as I expect it to be difficult with return times at least for the first year it’s open)
I actually just updated the rules (you can find them at the website linked in the description of this video) currently I’m not accepting runs with premier pass
@@TheTrevProductionI feel like you’ve already moved away from the problem a bit over the course of your last few videos. Starting the video with the booms and text on the screen as you basically restate the title… I get that it is important for retention and all but as someone who feels burned out by the MrBeastification of UA-cam, it does feel a bit fast and rushed. There’s other, superficial things that feel a BIT too evocative of his style, like the Black-and-White “coming up” section near the beginning, and even some of the music feels borrowed from him. Generally, I would recommend de-empjasizing sound effects, (only put them in when you have reason to) and generally show more of you as opposed to narration over B-roll. I’m not trying to tell you how to edit your videos, because they are YOUR videos after all. But I feel like they were made prioritizing retention over all else. Generally, I feel they are pretty good, and the problem has gotten less extreme since you’ve started making these. Those cut aways, like when you explain the lightning lane system, are great. Make sure to make the videos in the way YOU want to make them, because I genuinely think that’s what your core audience will want best. As for some other constructive criticism, I think generally lowering the amount of narration as opposed to letting us find stuff out organically with you in the moment is generally better, and sometimes, it’s hard to hear your voice over the music. But just want to be clear Trev, I’m not edit shaming you! Your videos are awesome and take a LOT of work regardless 👍
That’s fair, that’s fair. A big inspiration for me to make videos of Disneyland is that not a whole lot of people are editing the way I edit. It’s dramatic and exciting, it feels on screen exactly how it feels in my head when I’m speedrunning. But I’ll take this into account next time to not go too far with it and maybe do a little less voice over. Thank you :)
@@TheTrevProductionAgain, I feel like it does do pretty well as is with putting you in the moment. I think less narration will help with that, also this might not work for this kind of video, but having a person to bounce off of really helps. This is why your first two videos were able to flow a bit better with less narration. I think if you keep making these, your editing style will become more and more your own

Very underrated!! I alr said this before, but it's insane how you aren't more popular!!
great video dude!
Bro i was so stress whatching this lol... But super good video! On time rode everyride in like 12 hours with no lightning lane
Excellent work and the lighting lane system is defeintewly overly complex for no reason
This is so entertaining!
This is insane!!!
15:50 got me so much
ur my fav disney youtuber.
Thanks that makes me so happy :)
We missed you.I m so happy you're back. Remember I was an OG when ur famous.
The amount of research you do for this is insane
Thanks! For some reason I care way too much about figuring out the fastest path to riding every ride at Disneyland. It’s a weird obsession lol
I cant believe I finally found a channel who does the Disney Parks as chaotically as me 😭
New video lets gooooo
he’s back!
Yes trev posted something 🙌
You know how to set a real record nobody can beat… lightning lane premier! It may be like $400 but the record would be insane!
it’s banned
Hi do you think you can do a video that is how many character autographs can i get in one day?
Good video
Hey thetrevproduction you should try this challenge in Disney California adventure next video your so awesome love your videos
I actually already did earlier this year! You can watch it here

You can record your record? Mine is 6.5 hours
Fr?
@@a_seanboi1318 did you ever use Maxpass? It was insanely good. We were able to ride every ride in both parks before 8
I just went to Disney yesterday and realized you missed 3 ride, Star tours, space mountain and atopia
I didn’t do space mountain because it was under refurbishment when I filmed. I did go on star tours and autopia, they are in the video.
i think highly of this video
you’re so cute lol i’d love running around disney with you 😂🥹
I think sub-8 is possible
• Use Early Entry
• Pick a less crowded day
• Don’t waste too much time with the Main Street vehicles and get on them first try
for sure! If you eliminate all the "bad" areas from this speedrun I bet a sub-8 would have happened even without early entry!

Does the record run include Premier Pass or not? Just wondering what the parameters are if I want to attempt!
I actually just updated the rules (you can find them at the website linked in the description of this video) currently I’m not accepting runs with premier pass
That Kendrick reference 😭😭😭
If the space mountain is open I believe you still faster then the world record 3-4 minutes.
It’s time for Epcot…
Would love to do that but I’ve never been to Disney world 😣
No way you put toads above Peter Pan
I’m so confused if a ride is in refurbishment it just doesn’t count?
