Hello, I came from Trucking With Tay channel. Personally I will like to thank you for helping him with his tarp. Have a wonderful day you now have a new supporter!!! Blessing to you.
Great video bro. Was an easy process getting financed. I was a company driver looking to Lease on to Landstar and they made it easy. Just got to inspect your truck, tooth and nail. 4mths in.
I heard how you helped out my buddy Tay w his Tarp situation, Trucking w Tay UA-cam . That was Awesome bro. We're all gonna subscribe to you one by one man. Keep it Real brother
I’ve researched that Installing new shocks is a (initial) great step within a series of precautionary steps to ensure an used tractor perform at its best optimal level.
I bought my truck from lone moutain in July 2018 it’s now almost March 2019 I don’t have anything bad to say about lone moutain I have read about people saying they got junk trucks but buying a used truck is rolling the dice anyways I’m just lucky enough to have gotten a truck that’s good enough plus I haul amazon loads too so that’s probably a plus because the loads are very light weight
I would love to buy a truck and do just that haul Amazon loads. There's a location right here in Wallingford Connecticut 15 miles away from me. Is it short haul or Long haul and do they pay decent? I know they don't pay a lot because it's Amazon Jeff bezos got to keep that money to himself!
Hey brother. I too bought a truck from Lonemountain back in 2017. And what I can say is I totally agree with ya buddy. I had a great experience and it was an easy process. I knew up front what they needed and was fully prepared when I arrived In Iowa with my coveralls. Lol I have since put almost 200K on the truck. I keep it maintained regularly and on top of any little issues that can quickly run into big ones. I did have to replace the fuel pump but hey, it happens. No fault to Lonemountain. I will be buying another one from them this year. Thanks for the video brother and be safe out there.
I'm glad to hear your good luck and about your good experience with Lone Mountain! I pray that your business is blessed in 2019... the best year you've had! I appreciate your comment man! God bless! :)
Hi! When you finished paying and they signed the title to you, did you have to pay the taxes on it? We paid off ours in january...total of 64k.. then found out they never paid taxes. So after so many years, we have to oay taxes on a much larger amount than the actual price of the truck. We called for them to fix the bill of sale and they are not cooperating.
@@gabrielahernandez-rissi8211 so let me get this straight so I'm understanding correctly. Whenever you are paying the tax are you paying it to Lone Mountain? Or are you paying it to your local County Governmen?t so that I know exactly what type of tax you are paying
It's a case-by-case basis. I think they look at your work history as well as your credit score and make a decision. They also look to see if you have cash in the bank to be able to put a down payment as well as $5000 extra for a emergency maintenance account. That's about it
How long, start to finish, would you say the process took? If your credit score isn't the biggest thing they consider for approving you, what do you think would be the biggest thing?
I bought my truck in January 2018. I have a couple of more months to pay on it. I don't imagine things have changed much by then but the credit approval process was very quick. Couple days at most once I sent proof of financial document. It was very simple Once that was done we had to wait for the truck to come into the actual yard I was picking up from. That may have been a week or two but it was not very bad.
Thank you very much! I don't think there is a fee for prepayment but it will not save you any money. The price is still the exact same. Just FYI God bless and Happy new year!
@@stilliraise9201 well you are right about that but like I said you can take it to the dyno, to a shop and you can do all you want to inspect it. We all know that buying a used truck is a risk no matter where you buy it from or how much interest you pay or even with maintenance records. I have one more payment on my truck on a four-year note. No major problems thank the Lord Just a side note, I have bought six trucks since being in business and not one of them have had any maintenance records whenever I bought them
@@hispurpose3600 I heard you brother. In a sense has pros cons. New truck high payment but almost cero break down. It's a headache with old truck even though you did complete overhauled. Sometimes trying to avoid overheads ( high payment on new trucks) we get issues with these old trucks. Bad news we cannot go to Cali with truck that don't have DPF nor DEF.
From what I understand I think that completely depends on your state. In Kansas where I live you don't pay sales tax if you have an MC number and the equipment is registered under that fleet.
Loan mountain does do 1st time buyers with okay credit. If you owned or didnt own a truck before. I do hear its harder to get a second truck from them usually the decline people lol.
Yes, I can confirm that it is a lot tougher process being approved for the second truck while you're still paying on the first. Thanks for your comment!
Yes it's a 10 speed. Average MPG's really vary depending on load, weight, area I'm running and weather but I usually have no problems getting a minimum of 6 mpg's. With an empty trailer in the right conditions I can get 9 or better. That's usually whenever I'm pulling power only.
Hey I got a light blue 2015 T680 from lone mountain last year also. Great truck I love it. It had 332,000 on it when I picked it up. I had to do the exact things to my truck as you did shocks, light. I had a Knox sensor go out but warranty covered it. The only thing I'm not happy with is the paint peeled off a little on the side by the door and cab. Blue beacon sprayed it open. Other then that this truck is worth it.
You can buy insurance just to get it home and lease on with a company. If the insurance runs out and the finance company finds out they'll get insurance for you and add it to your truck note AND CHARGE YOU INTEREST ON IT. As far as the "paper" plates go it depends on what states you will be driving the truck through to get it home. You may need a fuel permit and or a trip permit.
Had a nightmare with this company! Met a few others as well, spent more than $80k between payments and repairs! and nothing to show for it! They will not help you when buying a used truck with them! I’ve got great credit, I’ll be using a traditional dealership if I buy another truck, this was back in 08’, hopefully this company has gotten better! Maybe the y screwed enough people by now to do better business?
Ouch! That stinks!! Its been very good for me up to date. No issues whatsoever. Although I do have to say that I just bought 2 more trucks last month through a traditional loan at my personal bank. I tried to add a second truck on through lone mountain but they really wanted me to Jump through hoops for that second truck. I felt it was just to much work. I hope your business is doing well now!
Do lonemountain allow buyers take a truck outside to local dealers or shops in order to do dyno test ,DOT inspection and PM?,I saw ur vid and u got knowledge of mechanical, so it wasn't u case.
@@abyg5781 Yes - we encourage you to take all the time you wish to inspect the truck. You can have your mechanic inspect the truck at our location or you can take it to a shop off the lot for a DOT/DYNO, oil sample, any inspections you want... if it doesn't pass the inspections, we will fix it at our shop at our cost.
You better off buying and used truck outside cash and go with a private company. Thats kinda shady for me how cresco is not charging any interest rates there.
