    Bead maker is the product that inspired my interest in detailing. I was always appreciative of detailing as the shop I was wrenching in had a detail shop in the back. One day one of the guys bought a personal bottle of bead maker and wanted to test it out so I let him use it on my old car that needed some love. Watched him wash it, clay it, and spray it and a final wipe and the car looked like it just got out the paint booth, so glossy it looked like the paint was wet, silky smooth touch and the water beaded off like it was red hot steel! Bead Makers simplicity and great results gave me the confidence to learn and perform my own details

    Have you every tried washing your microfiber towels with the powder Arm & Hammer and 2-3 caps of all purpose vinegar? As long as I don't put the towels in the dryer too long, they feel like new.

    Another tip with cleaning rags, keep your rags that you use for sealants (bead maker as an example) because when you wash those rags with other rags for instance, your drying towels or interior towels as the hydrophobic properties transfer from one to another making all your towels feel like they’re just streaking

    Paint gloss for me is great and extremely versatile. I love using it as a vacuum pre spray as an anti static to help release pet hair. If a customer doesn’t pay for any exterior protection, I use it as a drying aid because it makes the car really pop with almost no extra effort. I also keep a bottle in my car for quick cleanup like bugs and bird bombs and just general dusting on the interior. For sure a staple in my arsenal!

    Detailing is a constant learning experience and this video is a prime example. We all grow together and we all become better!
    Xpress interior I find gentle and leaves a very nice finish to everything. Brake buster is unmatched I use a foam pump sprayer to help improve its efficacy myself. Instead of one point of contact with the bottle, the pump sprayer puts foam all over. Same with an all purpose cleaner if you use fir tires or paint. Foaming allows multiple cleaning angles. Each bubble that bursts on the surface is adding fresh cleaner.
    Really great video! Great to see detailers coming together and this is why we all love it

    The best method for getting glass clean and not letting it become a headache is using straight water only. If you want to use a glass cleaner go ahead but follow up with a water damp towel followed by a dry waffle weave towel. But at that point you might as well just use water and follow up with a waffle weave.

    As a customer, I'd prefer the peace of mind knowing that an extractor was used instead of just doing a 'band-aid' clean of the surface.

    Hows the p&s all purpose cleaner? Not sure you guys covered it on the video

    • @ethanblan435
      @ethanblan435 2 роки тому

      P&S has their green all purpose cleaner which is an older product. They talked about enviro clean which is their newer apc. Both chemicals work but they use different chemistry and work in different ways.

    • @DETAILSofficial
      @DETAILSofficial 2 роки тому

      Enviroclean has a wider range and is classified as a degreaser, (think super clean versatility). And it's biodegradable. Thats why most detailers use it unstead of carrying apc and a degreaser which are the foundation of cleaners for detailing in my opinion.

      @@intelligentdummies how would it feel if you get buy the wrong product because the sales person told you this is what this does but once you get to the site it's not the right product for the heat like bead maker instead of recommending you dream maker. It's not the product that's bad it's the person that gave you the wrong information that's wrong and now because of that situation you don't want to return to that store. All im saying competition is all around you and if you are not on top of your game people are going somewhere else for these products that will give you the right info and when and how to use them.

      That's right. Always read the directions on everything you use, everything reacts differently and some effects can be damaging. I learned most of this the hard way.
