    Hi, great tour. Do you have the gpx so that we can follow it with my dog?

      Hi, thank you 😊. All what I have is my blog. It is in Czech but the main thing are the links with the route for each day separately. It is not finished yet, but I am working on it 😄. mountain-stories.webnode.cz

    Hi there, wonderful video, and you guys nicely captured the beauty of the hike. I have one question that whether I can complete TMB only depending on camping (using our own tents )? Now most of the refuges are full and I prefer camping outside

    • @klarask.1393

      Of course you can sleep only in your tent. We did. No refuges. 🙂

      Thank you! It took us 7 days. But we skipped some road parts and took a bus (totally about 25 - 30 km).

    beautiful video! any advice for learning where one can camp along the trail?

    • @klarask.1393
      @klarask.1393  2 роки тому

      Thank you! Basically every town or village has a campsite and there are several official bivouac places in between. The campsites are visible in online maps. The other places are hard to find in maps but it is possible. But I think some app like Alltrails should be helpful.

    So nice video, fantastic team. I also want to do this tour with a dog one day. The passage at Lac Blanc with the ladders, is it possible with the dog? Thank you for your answer. Best wishes from Germany

    • @klarask.1393
      @klarask.1393  2 роки тому +1

      Hallo 😊, Unfortunately, this is not possible with a dog. I learned on the French website that it is a national park and entry with a dog is prohibited. There are also ladders and ropes, and one hiker said that a dog wouldn't even be able to walk there. So we went from Col de Balme to Les Houches through the valley via Argentiére.

      I don´t, but you can look at my blog (you need to use the translator). There is day after day with map links. Also the whole TMB trail is in Alltrails app. mountain-stories.webnode.cz/

    I loved your video! Are dogs allowed on all stages of the Mont Blanc tour? Or did they have to adapt the script? In the part where refuge is mandatory, how did you do it? Thanks!

    • @klarask.1393
      @klarask.1393  Рік тому +1

      Thank you very much!☺ The only part where dog is not allowed is the National park and the area of Aiguillette over the Chamonix valley. So we had to go through the valley from Trient. We never slept in refuges, always in the campsites and official bivouac places. But I know many people are wild camping on the TMB. You can check my blog, I have a details about every day on the TMB there. But you need to use translator . 😃

    Hiya! With the Swiss and Italian sections, did your dog need to be muzzled/on lead? Where there sections you couldn't take her at all and had to reroute?

    • @klarask.1393
      @klarask.1393  2 роки тому +1

      Hi. Technically you should have your dog on lead everywhere on Tmb (no muzzle) , but she is used to going without. She is obedient and doesn't chase the wild animals at all. The only section where you can't go with the dog is Aiguillette des Posettes (France, the last part). It is the National park, but we knew it and we went down the valley instead.

      A very careless and selfish attitude to allow your dog of lead.If your dog chases animals or bite somebody who has travelled far and at much expense to do this trek.Will you pay there medical expenses???

      @@johnodwyer5146 my dog's never off lead unless in secure private areas that we rent. Asking out of curiosity as I know there are breed restrictions in Switzerland and to know if we do ever decide to do the TMB. Take your judgy comment and shove it up your ass

    Beautiful video and hike! I admire the videography. Also your style reminds me of the Kraig Adams channel :) How long did it take for you to prepare and work towards this trip? I'm curious because I am dreaming of hiking through the alps like this

    • @klarask.1393
      @klarask.1393  2 роки тому

      Hi, thank you that's nice of you I like Kraig Adams. We had already completed the trip 4 years ago, so we knew where to sleep and where to go. But before that it took me about 3 months. I made notes about the trail and campsites, and especially to know where we can go safely with the dog. But the trail is so well marked that maps on your phone or the Alltrails app are enough. Tip - There is no signal at all in the Les Chapieux area. 😄Before this year's trip, I mainly weighed the equipment so that I had the lightest gear possible.

    ahoj, moc se mi to líbilo, jsem ráda, že existuje alternativní trasa i pro trek se psem :) sama bych tam nešla.. jen pro info, ta trasa pro psa je nějak značená nebo si to člověk musí vše dohledat sám? děkuji

    • @klarask.1393
      @klarask.1393  2 роки тому +1

      Ahoj, moc děkuji 😊. Trasa pro psa není nijak značená. Vycházeli jsem z Les Houches směr dolů přes Les Contamines, jako většina lidí. Někde po trase jsou alternativy jakoby vrchem, ale tam jsem nešli. Odklonit do údolí jsme se museli ve chvíli, kdy jsme z Trientu poslední den přešli že Švýcarska zpět do Francie a tam pak pokračuje trasa dál vrchem nad Chamonix přes přírodní rezervaci. Jsou tam žebříky a lana, hodně skalnatý povrch a pes tam zkrátka nesmí. Ale slyšela jsem, že je to tam moc krásný.
