As a 15 year old I went to meetings on a Friday at Mel Uni. (We sat on the floor didn’t we? ) I never said anything and no one said anything to me. I went to botanical gardens which you filmed too, and the parades. I was young and didn’t have the voice or confidence you uni students did. I’m in someone’s footage somewhere. You did a marvellous job.
thanks for posting as it brought back lots of memories. i repressed my sexuality until late 1973 when at the age of 24 i found my way to the woolshed bar at the australia hotel. also then of course the dover hotel in lygon street run by peter jones and adrian gallagher the carlton vfl footballers. the rest is history.
