Found him passed out in the snow) mika still hadnt fully trusted nazuna and was scolding at him backstage untill shu appeared then they all sang together Also shu said that this song was supposed to be centered around mika

The old valkyrie was very toxic from the start thats why they had a downfall in the first place,, im happy things are the way they are now tbh, nito can freely smile now, mika isn’t a worthless member anymore and shu doesnt have to carry valkryie by himself on any longer

Ex Valkyrie is absolutely charming and Nazuna's voice is the most gorgeous thing ever in it but I definitely prefer the current Valkyrie much more as the above commenters have said already. The way Mika can stand as Shu's equal and how Shu has developed to be a much better person and wants Mika to see himself as a human rather than a doll now is beautiful.
I find this a very fascinating discussion because it could be interpreted that the old Valkyrie is in fact the 'better' version, technically, because Nito was essential to Shu's vision of making perfect art. The current Valkyrie 'lacks something' (Nito), and we feel that. However, it was able to become something more - a real idol unit, if we're leaning into the human vs doll, Pinocchio, themes here, where Mika and Shu can perform happily as equals despite finding faults with it as 'art'. Old Valkyrie is an idyllic, but bygone era, the nostalgia perfects it in rose-tinted glass, but it finds its place within a Museum to be admired. While the current Valkyrie lives, breathes and performs for the present, straddling the line between perfection and what finding humanity in their art will create (Acanthe). I'm in love with both Valkyrie's because of the dichotomy Art vs Idol, Happiness vs perfection (Steampunk Museum), Human vs doll thing they've got going on, it cuts deep and enables discussions like this which are also very thematic. It's all the art of Valkyrie and I live for it.
