It may be the interference caused by the refresh of the temperature display. If you have the conditions, you can test whether this is the reason. We will cancel the temperature display in later updated versions.

@@retekessradio1714 Thank you for the reply. Yes I can confirm it is the TSens. I unplugged the TSens from the PCB-Board and the "Cirp" was gone. Unfortunately this firmware version expects to have a TSens signal so the radio reacted erratic (very slow keypress reactions)
I get this receiver tomorrow, from Amazon Italy, I really hope it doesn't make any noise: that of the temperature it's a totally useless feature, which is also on my XH Data and it's doubly useless because if there are 20 degrees, the radio reads 25! Furthermore, one or more filters for the AM bands (Medium Wave and Short Wave) would have been very welcome, at the limit even a single filter, at 3 KHz. And above all, a manual control of the display light: with XH Data you can switch the display light on and off as you please, and it is very beautiful... (Google Translator Italian\English)

I'm torn with these radios.Some say get one,they are great for the money,others say stay far away,they stink.This one would be a no for simple fact no SSB.I notice it has an old style plug in like the cassette recorders had back in the 70s,those black ones with the huge buttons and carrying handle and the pop top lid.😂

Я когда-то переписывался с русской редакцией Voice of Vietnam. Посылал им рапорты о приеме передач русской редакции. В ответ оны высылали QSL card. Один раз получил от них вьетнамские почтовые марки.
