@totalguy maybe, but thats only because you have a diesel. yours revs only until 5000 rpm. a gasoline motor revs much higher. as of that its only an optical illusion that a diesel engine revs much faster than a petrol engine
No, it only was open the whole time. Tried that mod for a while, had more fuel consumption but also better acceleration in the middle and upper rpm range (from around 3000)
i personally know a 2.0 tdci mk3 owner kills 220's. 14 second quarter mile at santapod. when you know what your doing and what works with a car you can make it fast. as for the v6's unless you throw 1000's of pounds at it with a turbo or supercharger and engine rebuild you easily hit the power wall.
Difference is, that You will have to replace the double mass flywheel and the jet dispersers soon. V6 do not have those silly things. LOL Oh, almost forgot: My 2.5 V6 produces 235 HP on the flywheel after remap. Sure, it was 205 HP before, but it is the same engine (ST).Those idiots of Your kind are always trying to have a drag race thinking their 400 NM should beat any V6. Well, it is definitely not. And V6 has engine sound instead of tak-tak-tak. Buy a 2.2 TDCi, maybe You'll have a chance.

tryin to do my best :)
@Alin2002 yeah shame its not 6000 like older ones they would produce even better power when remapped my 115bhp tddi only produces 178 at the flywheel
7 sec or less.. love this car, had one of these. Still want it back

Matte black
Dirt box
if we are talking acceleration speed my mondeo tddi revs faster than that :)
