Always a lesson, the mark of a true teacher. Steve wants all drummers to get better by showing us there’s stuff out there if you listen. Master architect!
It seems that you are not familiar with most of Steve´s work. I encourage you to hear the work he has done with Paul Simon, Stanley Clarke, Chick Corea, Steely Dan, just to name a few. Of course, we all know Joe´s Porcaro ability to play shuffle, but Steve is the king of groove, and that is splashed in everything he does, even in the simpliest of shuffles. There´s no one like him, in the world.@@carloslukather6658

That shuffle/reggae from ‘In Session’ is just beautiful
Steve Gadd has always been a killer time keeper. He never over plays the music and he always has the best groves.
So much to learn from those short clips if you TRULY pay attention!Onederful playing by THE BEST!
like how he digs the stick in while playing the ride. Cool stuff.
Not seen some of this. Stunning as usual
That transition at 4.49 is so good
He was soo Smacked out in the first clip
The best. 👍👍
Part of what makes this shuffle groovy is that it has a samba feel. The shuffle sounds like 2 16th notes rather than 2 8th note triplets.
ハイハット、音符のどの位置でも自在に踏めるのすげえんだよな。クラッチゆるゆるで「ヂィッ」って感じで。
…he becomes the beat, the rhythm….
Don’t forget your shuffle.
jeff porcaro has much more groove
Haha you are a funny guy;!
im but is true, jeff is the groove master. there is nothing like the Rosana beat@@RubenvanRoonDrumChannel
