Dear Fenix, I have a couple of your flashlights that require a double tap in .5 seconds to turn on. They are annoying, and people who are not familiar with them screw around with them to get them to turn on or off. They are lousy, stop making them.
None of Fenix flashlights or headlamps have ever required a double tap to activate. Are you referring to the lockout function? In this video the WF26R is activated by pressing the large switch fully. The WH23R turns on with a turn of the dial, plus can be activated by waving you hand in front of the light.
