A family member's boyfriend is the chief of police and he told her that's what they do so that they cannot testify against them later because they're dead. "Please dont shoot my mom" made me cry. This poor family will forever be traumatized all because american cops are ill equipped to deal with mental health episodes. I know the mom will blame herself, but she tried to reason and save her son almost at the cost of her own life

That's not murder 1. Learn to speak english to communicate the problem is a must. 2. Autistic or not charging with a knife they're going to shoot cause they are scary. 3. Shouldn't called 911 in the first place. 4. Should have gotten some mental health cause you know they're some type of assistance from the gov. The brother knew what was going on and didn't explain to the officers the problem correctly. He was tired of him and wanted them to shoot his brother cause if he didn't he would grabbed the scissors himself instead of grabbing his mother.

This was straight up murder. I don’t care. Yes, he was holding a potentially deadly weapon but he was only standing. There could’ve been so many other ways to handle this. He didn’t need to die. :(
