    I'm not sure if your aware but the same cars that donate the 1uz also donate brakes only mod is to turn your tie rod end 180 degrees complete bolt in using the spindle and everything that attaches to it from donor car.you end up with 12 inch rotors aluminum calipers and a sealed hub.

      Is there anywhere else with more info on this swap? I have a 93 ls400 parts car and an 85 2wd toyota pickup. Would the parts be compatible?

    Nice seats. Watching with interest since I literally just dropped off my 94 toyota for an LS swap. Fast is good, not crashing is better...

      5.3?

    • @daviddavid5880
      @daviddavid5880 3 роки тому +1

      @@yotaripYeah...but my eager mechanic just now asked if I wanted a 6liter. I was kinda tempted by the sheer bonkers element, but I think a cammed 5.3 is probably far more than the chassis can handle (way more than 350hp) so I think I'll stick with the 5.3. I've heard his built 5.3s and they sound pretty dang mean. Lopey and crackly. Gotta admit I did have a momentary image of a 6liter with that giant LS truck intake poking through the hood...

      @@yotarip And just what were those seats of yours out of?. They look pretty sweet. I was thinking of scrounging up some 4runner buckets. I've read it's an easy swap. This 94 is super base. Fleet white, bench seat, not even power steering.

      @@daviddavid5880 the seats are from a second gen Hyundai Tiburon. There is a standard black with gray high lights colored seat and the gray has black leather with a red and black insert.

    Hello was your truck originally 5 lug? That hub looks a lot like my 86 Toyota pickup 2wd. Do you think a Chevy s10 rotor and hub will bolt on my Toyota pickup I’m wanting to convert to 5x120.7 lug pattern

    Why Can’t I use the Z32 rotors instead of Mazda rotors ? Thank for the video

    • @yotarip
      @yotarip  2 роки тому +1

      The Nissan rotor hat didn’t have the height I needed to push the calipers inboard enough to clear my wheels. The Nissan rotor might work for you depending on your wheel design

      The hub centric ring size is 67.1mm inner to 71.5mm outer. I’ve also seen 71.6mm which works too.

      I shortened the Nissan banjo bolt with an angle grinder and belt sander. I bought the 50mm studs off eBay. Just search extended Toyota wheel studs.
