This was one of the super groups of the 60's. Everyone of the 3 guys (Jack Bruce, Ginger Baker & Eric Clapton) was super talented but they also had big egos. So they didn't always get a long. They all came from previous successful bands. But in the few short years they were together they produced some classic songs such as "Crossroads", "Born Under A Bad Sign", "Tales Of Brave Ulysses", "Strange Brew", "Sunshine Of Your Love", "SWLABR" etc.
I am in my 70s and this was my favourite single from my teenage years...try reacting to "Spoonful" from their live double album which will show another side of this group, a blue oriented piece of equal or greater brilliance Gareth
Terrific.. One of the Best.. Cream Live "Suneshine of Your Love" - ua-cam.com/video/FiORVTHlQy8/v-deo.html and early Cream "I Feel Free" - ua-cam.com/video/gJktf4aTNvk/v-deo.html.
One of my fave Cream tracks, Ginger's drums are just awesome. When Clapton really knew how to play guitar. The bass line is a bit sad, almost non-existent but perhaps it doesn't need one.

Great musicians! 🎶🎶👍
Baker goes on a tear on those skins at the end!!! Wow!!!
I can remember where I bought this album when it first came out. A colossal group at the time. Joyful times in London.
so much drama for a song about a room :) deliciously
One of my favourite songs! Peace and Love from Canada. ❤
Stan, your heads gonna fall off! Clapton wah wah wah wah
along with the Jimi Hendrix Experience, Cream mastered the 'power trio' sound of the British Invasion 🤟
Fantastic reaction Stan 👏👏👏👏 to a great song 😎☮️
Three greats in one band, who could ask for more? Also one of the best albums ever! Check out "Tales of Brave Ulysses" from the same album
The effect pedal Clapton used is called a wah-wah pedal. He also used it to great effect on Blind Faith's "Presence of the Lord".
