      @@SmartRobotReviews oh wow, you've even timestamped the video to all the sections within the video description. I just noticed that. This is some amazing detail. Honestly, you've chosen a very niche topic to review and yet so much hardwork invested. Please try to review other tech things too. And although I love the text narration, having a person in the videos to be a brand will help a lot too. Just a few suggestions from a new subscriber.

    So far so good with this vacuum. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx8ISPQRRAfpAaX4msGjyodObTBnlj4T5g I was a little concerned to find it seems to be all plastic, but the reviews were good, so I'm hoping for the best. Very easy to assemble Recommened, and only attachments I've used so far work well, and are easy to use. Doing a good job on the new carpet in my bedrooms and stairs. Works well on the hardwood on my main floor too. Reasonable weight and cord length. I already knew from an earlier review that it wouldn't fit under furniture, but I can use my Eufy for that, so no problem - the high traffic areas that need a stronger suction was really what I bought this for. If it continues as it's started, it will be a good buy and well worth the money. I have had two Shark Rocket stick vacs in the past that are super easy to use, but the motors just don't last well, even with scrupulous cleaning of the filters. I'm hoping for better with this Bissell.

    Having it for almost a month, I don't have any complaints. Just a recommendation, don't buy it if you have really dark floors or carpets. Having a long hair carpet with some black spots, makes the robot think it is on the edge of a cliff whenever the cliff sensor (located under the bumper are 4 cliff sensors) is on top of the black spot.

    The water tank has to be inside the robot when you fill it with water. It's not designed to be filled outside and be installed after.
    Not really a design flaw, but I guess it's not the best design or the most intuitive.

    i have 2 of these robot (mop p) and im happy with them. depending on region, pricetag can be competitive (i paid ~$259 for the chinese version - delivered to my doorstep). the chinese version now has the multi-map mode which is useful (firmware 0047). bring the robot to another room or another floor and let it start. it will draw a new map and once it finishes it will ask you to save the map. then you can select which active map to be used in the menu.
    cons: small battery 3300mah (tested 140m runtime on silent speed cleaning 124m2 space consumes 95% battery) and slow loading in app, sometimes due to router type. also the robots is configured to speak chinese only. however my 2nd robot speaks english. not sure why but if anyone figure out how to change the language i'd be happy to have all my robots speak english.
    overall a decent entry-level robot. this video review did an excellent job demonstrating all the capabilities of the robot. subbed!

    Hi! Your video is really awesome! Can you tell the difference between Xiaomi mijia 1c and Xiaomi vacuum mop p? And which one do you prefer? TYSM!

    • @SmartRobotReviews
      @SmartRobotReviews  4 роки тому +1

      Hi! Thank you for kind words. The Xiaomi Vacuum Mop P uses Lidar for mapping and navigation purposes when the Mijia 1C uses a camera (TOF) sensor and gyroscope. Lidar is more precise, so the Mop P builds a more accurate map, can recognize rooms and you can use separate room cleaning, store multiple maps. The Mijia 1C builds not a very accurate map, sometimes it looks slightly distorted, and it lucks of selective room cleaning. The Mop P has a larger water tank and uses a Y-shaped path when mopping. But it has a leaking water tank problem. Regarding the cleaning performance, the Mijia 1C is much better (tested it with sand and debris on a medium-pile carpet), and the overall build quality of the 1C is better imho. So both have their own advantages, hard to say for sure.

    • @SmartRobotReviews
      @SmartRobotReviews  4 роки тому +1

      Thank you, Masters :) It's basically the Viomi V2, not sure if there are any improvements. Just branded and supported by Xiaomi. It even performs similarly on carpet and hard floors. I got the Viomi with separate water tank and dustbin and this robot has a 2-in-1 but still...basically same machine. Are you excited about the Roborock S6 MaxV? What you think of the Roborock E4 btw?

    • @RobotMasters
      @RobotMasters 4 роки тому +2

      @@SmartRobotReviews Yeah the Roborock S6 MaxV has a lot promising features especially the object recognition. Will allow the user to feel more at ease when performing a entire house cleaning and you don't have to worry about those stray cables. The 2500 Pa an slightly longer battery life around 180 Minutes is a welcoming addition with the Smart Top Up. I think the robot might be a little loud around 67 dB. Some of my Viewers were disappointed that Roborock hasn't introduced a self emptying bin system. I think the T8 will be a strong competitor if Ecovacs released the vibrating mopping module and self emptying bin. As for the Roborock E4 I think the pricing makes since. I do like the fact you have the option to buy the electronically controlled mopping system. Hopefully in the future Roborock can add a dedicated carpet sensor like on the Deebot so the E4 can automatically avoid the carpets. The upgraded Brush Roll and Side Brush is also nice. What you think about all the upcoming models from Roborock?

    • @SmartRobotReviews
      @SmartRobotReviews  4 роки тому +1

      @@RobotMasters I think this is great that Roborock decided to go differently than iRobot did by not making a self-emptying bin. I like that they added a camera and that it will be secure, should be something special. As for the E4, it is great that you can get a robot without mopping attachments if you don't need them. Looks like a worthy update over the Xiaowa E3. Let's see how differently the Roborock be compared to the Deebot T8, should be a tough call...

      Thanks for the clarification! To be clear, it's almost not leaking when I accurately installing the bin. But when I shake or tilt the water tank, the water still dripping. Maybe it's not a big problem, but I read comments that some guys broke their device because water got on the motherboard inside the robot. Not sure if it's a common problem though.

    I have the mi mop pro and the leaking part is due to pressure. It has two nozzles inder the water container that are open. After you fill it up with water, when you put the cap on, and wait a few seconds, the pressure drops, because of some water droplets dopping from the bottom, and then it stops, at witch point you can put it in the vacuum without leaking any water.

    • @SmartRobotReviews
      @SmartRobotReviews  2 роки тому +1

      Thanks, yes it helps and doesn't leak if you wait for a few seconds. Yet, it may still leak a bit when you remove the water tank when the robot finished cleaning. If you use it carefully, probably it's not a big deal, let's not forget that it's one of the most affordable Lidar robot vacuums with a lot of smart features, so it's like a trade-off. Even the most expensive models have some cons and design flaws.

      @@SmartRobotReviews the robot cleans well. I was surprised that it was able to pick up dust after I swept and wet mopped the room with soap. Could be those under the furniture spaces that the brush can reach.
      The app is so glitchy! The robot's always offline and is a pain to connect, would spend 15mins to no avail. Haven't had a decent "connection -> sweep" actually, so haven't been able to try mopping yet. It does however send me a map of it's last sweep once connected.

    Awesome review style, I really enjoyed watching it.
    I have a lovely Beagle and I want to buy a smart robot; my main concern is its performance picking up dog hair. I would like a smart robot that can both mop and vacuum, but a lack of mop is not a deal breaker.
    Currently I’m torn between:
    360 S7 Pro Robo
    t
    xiaomi Mijia 1C
    Eufy by Anker Aspiradora Robot Robovac 11s MAX
    Xiaomi styj02ym
    I live in an apartment with no carpets.

    • @SmartRobotReviews
      @SmartRobotReviews  3 роки тому +1

      Hi there, it also depends on the size of your place. The S7 Pro is a really good one, and it's brush has detachable side tips that makes cleaning it easier. The MiJia 1C is also a good one but it has a smaller battery and on Max mode, it does not last long. The Xiaomi is a good mop but the brush is solid and can be a bit challenging to maintain. All in all, on a daily basis these three would be good although, the Lidar-guided robots are better for cluttered homes. The MiJia 1C is ideal for small apartments. I would go for the S7 Pro but the Xiaomi is a really good mop but vacuuming is where the S7 Pro shines. Does that help?

      Hey there. I can think of the 360 S7 but it doesn't have an electronic water tank so you can't control water output but the robot is better at vacuuming and overall is a great quality for the price. It has the same features as the Xiaomi but does not follow a Y-shape in mopping mode. I would also recommend the Roborock S4. It does not mop but vacuuming performance is great (not suitable for thick carpets tho). Have a look at these robots, these are decent competitors of the Xiaomi.

    Great video. Why does it only have 1 sweeper? Some cheap iLife models even have 2 sweepers

    • @SmartRobotReviews
      @SmartRobotReviews  4 роки тому +2

      Thank you! Side brush needed only to clean along the walls and corners, in other cases it's almost useless. Cheap ILIFE models use random cleaning pattern, so they may go along the wall in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction when the Lidar-based robot vacuums with one side sweeper use a planned S-shaped cleaning pattern and always go along the wall only in a counter-clockwise direction (so this one side brush is always close to the wall). Also, two side brushes increase the possibility to be tangled in cords.

      Yeah, I think it's helpful even on a hardwood floor. At least, the roller brush is wider than the suction inlet in robot vacuums without the roller brush, so it covers a larger area on one pass.
