@@andrebeauchamp6897 because why would I burn my money on rent so I eliminate my chances of being able to buy a home one day, when I can live at home with my parents and assist them and my aging grandparents? Why should I give my time and energy to strangers when I can help my family?
@@Jml15 Most fathers would not be OK giving their daughter away to a man age 30+ still living at home with their parents. You haven’t demonstrated you could stand on your own two feet as a man to take care of yourself let alone a wife and child/children. A smart woman wouldn’t roll the dice to take a chance on an untested man. It’s not only about saving money, there’s other life challenges that a man must be able to endure to ensure he can fulfill is role as a provider and protector.
And instead of the President giving money to help out young people & families he giving are tax money to Ukraine. 🇺🇦 Think about the young people who was in the foster care system that have no one to help them 💔
rent is high and no company cares to pay a living wage. Mystery solved
I don't think people anywhere understand specially in these comments sections because when people make a comment and they're like oh I'm struggling too I just paid off my house it's like hello nobody has a house
this applies to ALL generations.
No parent in their right mind would be proud of their 40 year old son living at home. It is a failure as a parent imo. Especially immigrant parents who came here with nothing and made their own way, which is why they have a house for their adult children to live in...not allowing their child to make their own way as they did is just stunting their growth. The child/parent dynamic remains, and the man will never be in the roll of provider and man of the house, making decisions that prepare for sustainable adulthood. "Daddy will make the hard decisions"....hmmm okay then. And when Daddy passes away...what then? You just crumble, become resentful for your father never teaching you how to renegotiate a mortgage or invest in dividend stocks, budget for the month? Come tf on. Staying at home to save money to spend on luxury items?? Disgusting.
How interesting you DON'T mention women living at home. Let's make something clear. If the son is paying some of the bills, saving some money, AND has a job why do you care??? Get over it already cause are YOU going to help him if he winds up homeless? NO!! So mind YOUR business. I stayed home until I was 31 and that has always been my mindset.
There are people who rather help their families, rather than pay someone else to become richer while he or she is scamming you with high, unregulated rise of rent until you are driven out, homeless.
Go live in detroit jail then come back and own a house because it doesnt matter if you're in Detroit jail after that
I am wondering, do young adults live with their parents in most Western societies? :(
Yes especially now after the pandemic, it’s becoming more common
If you're an adult and can't afford to live like one, then you don't have expendable income. There's nothing great about being indolent and a leech. Before buying luxury items, you should pay off your debts and learn how to save money.
Yup I can’t believe they don’t see the hypocrisy, it’s too expensive but have a bunch of expendable income to spend on whatever. I’m 21 and live with a someone outside of my parents. It isn’t hard just need to be an adult, suck it up and learn to manage money

Hope Trump can build some affordable home, like college dorm… cost only 6 to 700 a month.
This is predominantly a liberal thing.
Conservative states are poorer and cheaper to live there, but not everybody wants to live in these states due to the ignorant people more than anything and the lack of jobs and amenities.

Parents that allow their kids to live at home without paying rent when they can financially live on their own are not preparing them for the day that they'll not be around to coddle them.
Many times the parents don't particularly done even want them to be there but are such codependent or in fear of their reaction that they don't want to tell the kid that they need to go...
I was a single dad and told my son to have fun during the summer after high school but if he was going to live with me he had to go to school and or get a job .
He got a job and never looked back. I'm fact, I actually ended up staying at his place for a month during my breakup...

Some people allow their children to save for a house down payment instead of helping the parents pay bills.
@@rchot84
When parents don't teach their kids the true meaning of personal responsibility before they leave home they are setting those kids up for failure. If a kid can't at least be responsible enough to pay household bills, they certainly won't know how to make a house payment and pay bills too...
Wow so you stayed with your son? LEAVE THE NEST, WEAKLING!!
Throughout the whole video all the young adults say they are saving money. At the end of the video they say luxury item sales have increased drastically. Translations THEY ARE NOT saving money. I know plenty of gen Z’s that want to look rich and not saving a penny.
