I appreciate that Frank. Don't think I have enough people subscribed for Maxpedition to even know I'm around and that's alright. A couple weeks ago some company contacted me trying to advertise some kind of electronic money coin on my videos. Didn't think it'd be a good idea to pollute my channel with that junk for a few bucks a month. Maxpedition would be pretty cool though! Take care brother 🤙🏻
i just started watching your videos. I like what you're doing. all your load outs are well thought out and compliment your life style. you've got the common man gear, no gimmicks. that's what i like to carry too. and your leather work is great. how bout a video of Bonzo's pack and contents?
That's a good idea Mickey. I'm planning on heading up the mountain for a week or two in January and I'll try to do a video on Bonzo's load out. I appreciate you watching, thank you 🤙🏻
Loved the video! I'm like you, I have to have 5 or 6 knives on me. I'll have to think about carrying a parasol (I mean an umbrella, haha). Take care and God bless!
GREAT vid Drew! Damn Drew, you are prepared! You’re ready for every/anything! Love it! Got to get Bonzo in winter shape, LOL. Not positive but that little turtle may be a “snapper.” That center ridge on its back may be a giveaway. Like that Hobo-Forge necker. I have a similar, smaller version I bought from Kellam about 8 yrs ago that’s made in Finland. Very handy little bugger. Drew did you ever get your WC (survival ?) knife back from some fella who was to make a kydex sheath for it? Just a “heads-up” for you Drew- Kept meaning to mention it to you but kept slipping my mind. Do you have a way to find out if the RR still uses a defoliant on the tracks to keep them clear of growing grass & brush?
Dang, never thought about that with the RR tracks John, thank you. The tracks run along the river but I'm sure they don't care about that. Probably why there are signs posted stating "limit fish consumption to one a week" if fishing. My first thought was that turtle could have been a snapper - I edited it out! Good call. I did get my knife back, with an awesome Kydex sheath. Had to send an email ( which I don't normally do, actually that was a first) I'm just not "that guy" but I felt it was warranted. Catch you later brother. Be safe.
@@MountaincraftOutdoors- Not to scare you Drew but my father worked on the RR for 30yrs. Three yrs after retiring he came down with Hodgkins-lymphoma which progressed to leukemia. Passed (1987) at 54 yrs old. There were others he worked with for yrs who came down with other issues. Some passed and some were luckier. My father hired on in 1954 and worked through the 60’s-early 80’s. They were spraying the RR yards & tracks with the same shit that was being used in ‘Nam. Agent Orange. Maybe and hopefully they’ve stopped using AO yrs ago and started using something less toxic to humans. Still, it’s worth checking to be sure. I love my country but DO NOT trust the gov or big business.
I would love to see Maxpedition sponsor you after that vid! I don’t think they even imagined anything like that. Amazing!
