- My Fist time using the SIGMA 105MM 2.8 EX DG MACRO. Really enjoyed trying something new and look forward to using this lens again.
In this Video I got to photograph the Ladybird, Yellow Dung Fly and Common Blue Butterfly.
Well done video! Nice flow and pleasant relaxing music. Great images and tips!
Good one. Such a neat set-up with 2 lenses. Great images.
Love your videos fella keep them coming 👍
Excellent video, that’s encourged me to get out and do more macro👍
Nice use of the Sigma 105. Although I use a Canon T6, I always carry my sigma 150-600 and the Sigma 105 macro when going out into the Mojave Desert to capture the wildlife. Always be prepared I always say. Good pictures my friend.
I am living in the mojave desert...😢
@@tomtanner1377 Hi Tom, I live in California City. Stomping grounds is Red Rock Canyon State Park. I knew a Tom Tanner that was a State Park Ranger.
Nice video and wonderful shots. 👍👍
🇮🇪 very good video sharing
Great video and photography!
Thank you. All the best. 👍📷😎
Great photos
Классные макрофото!
After using all kinds of different large flash diffusors I opted for the same one you're using. I found that it doesn't need to be any bigger when I'm as close as I like to get to my subjects. It's so much more convenient. you're the first person I've seen use it. One addition I made was to put a piece of gold mylar over the aluminized surface on the inside to warm it up slightly.
Can you let me know the name of this diffuser please?
Love from Bangladesh
Good pictures.. i have the canon version of this lens.. i also use a godox macro ring flash for additional light.
I find sigma 105 a great lens for macro, thanks for sharing, I love the tripod what make is it
What flash light do u use please
Brilliant images I am just about to buy this lens. What tripod are you using there ? Thanks
Great video and some great shots 👌 did you manual focus or autofocus for the ladybird shot? I ask because I can never soon to get a good shot of them anymore 😂
Have you tried taking multiple images and stacking them?
well … you are my reason because i choose sigma 105 mm new from shop and not nikon 105 mm SH bought Macro! thx from Romania 🇷🇴
Great video , did the wind not cause any issues doing the macro ?
Hi, thank you. Yes it did, I held the stem of the flower or the piece of grass to keep it from blowing 🤣🤣
Shouldnt you turn diffusor on flash on its white side ?
Hi, it was my first time using the macro lens and flash so it was all trial and error 😁
don't use AP, set your shutter speed for faster than you normally would. Set to servo and manual mode. You'll get much sharper photo's.
Not a Common Blue actually Sean. I am about 90% certain that what you had there was a Chalk Hill Blue. I am not an expert but I have photographed them here in Germany. I am interested in upgrading my really poor cheap camera so I was interested in what you had to say about using a Macro lens for butterflies.
@Bryan Burton. We don't have Chalkhill Blues here in Ireland.
if only i could hear him
I can hear him just fine 🤷🏻♂️ turn up the volume...
@@highwayman1224 it's up. He's the only one I struggle to hear.
