The best comment I rad about the "incident" was: At least he did it here instead of buying an AR-15 and going into a supermarket.
Just wait for his next stream
its the same people....
this behavior has red flags all over it! No empathy for other people...preparation for a year...this is legit scary as fuck!
@@Eilanzer He has 8 other perma banned accounts, also multiboxxed priests to dispel world buffs in classic wow. Legit serial killer
By recent statistics the person talking to asmongold is more likely to do that.
He didn't masterplan this from day 1, he was just feedup and saw an opportunity
I don't know how anyone is surprised about this dedication. This is vanilla hardcore WoW. Most people here don't even know what grass is.
I know what grass is! I can see some through the window. It sometimes even has some Tauren eating it.
the Elite community is actually mostly just normal people in their 30s-40s. there are a few no lifers but theyre all pretty cool too.
Teeny honestly wasted his time... we are all switching to official anyways
Hardcore dedication by the griefer
It's awesomely insane
dude, touching grass or not...Some people can be cringe, no life or even the low tier of society. But to have no empathy AT ALL is legit scary stuff. Any normal person like pvp or some troll, but this level of dedication to fuck a group of people isn´t normal behavior. Not even a rogue that gank people the entire day would go this low and premeditate for months.
@@Eilanzer ''a rogue that gank people the entire day'' yes iam that kind of guy and im impressed, love it, great motivation
Even the boss is screaming "I have no choice but to obey!" and "Forgive me" like he wants absolutely no part in this
Bro waited an entire year to do this... I know it's the internet but that's every sign you need of a serial killer or someone who would shoot up a school.
Honestly, it's good that he is doing it here. Keep him on the game, if he was a high up in a corporation he would be doing alot worse to society.
@@abefroman2477He literally altered the timeline of 36 people with about 700 hours each on average according to the Asmon interview with Calamity. For a combined total of 25 000 hours +/-. That is a huge impact on society as a whole. These people probably have families, work, etc. etc. and he stole an extreme amount of their time. It's sort of in a way the same as making 36 people work for free for 700 hours each.
I hope most of these 36 people atleast enjoyed a big portion of that journey. But yeah, even though it's just a game, we are still speaking about crapping on other peoples time.
By the way, gaming culture is sort of a lifestyle for many people nowadays. It would be laughable some decades ago because there was only a few people who made their home/reality in a game. Now though it's literally a crime, a scam on level with irl money scams.
@@bosspoke yes and no, the fact that they were trying KT on sunday would have had the same result, i bet some ppl would have stopped playing after that, or wouldnt raid 20hours/week anymore. Idk, im just assuming here.

Looking way too deep into it bro.
This is the first time I’ve seen a clip on par with the guild that griefed the in-game wow funeral from way back in the day. Absolutely insane.

Thats the life of a react andy. X's reaction of Y's reaction of Z.
It’s just a clip too , ez views
How else would I know how to react?
Really, the only ones to benefit without any cost/investment are the observers and reactors. The griefer had to invest thousands of hours. The 36 victims lost tens of thousands of hours. The only ones to really gain something are the ones to sit back and watch. "Vicarious" (Tool) 🎶 🎵
Asmongold turned it into an hour+ clip.
The first level 40 in 2005 on OG Destromath (PVP NA) was an orc rogue who stopped leveling and just permanently camped duskwood/north STV. Thankfully I was leveling as tauren shaman so he wasn't a problem for me but every time I /who to see who the highest levels on the server was, there would be all sorts of people past him but there was the orc rogue, still level 40 in STV. I've forgotten his name but I bet the Alliance remember it. Guess he found what was fun for him and stuck to it.
I played horde in destromath too! Name was Botond, Druid. Maybe we crossed paths!
Aye I played on destro too horde. Remember the colonial space marines?
Idk how anyone could see that as a mistake…. He retaunted the boss from the mvp gnome. It’s obvious what he was trying to do.
There is only one MVP there. And this is the tank who was whipped the raid. What a fucjin legend. 😂
Also you tank Thane typically on the side of the entrance to the room and Zeliek WAYYYYY in the back. There's no confusion possible because Thane is the first focus target and right at the start of the room. You'd never pull the boss you're focusing first way to the back and waste all that time. Also pulling Thane to the back is a massive risk with his meteor. Same reason why he's killed first. Can't let that meteor go out without being stacked.
@@Eddysamson1 guesss they should have done Zeliek first Kappa
I bet it's to cover his ass in case somehow Blizzard got involved. It's the veneer of an accident to give some plausible deniability even though anyone watching knows what happened wasn't by accident.

That calm voice "ooh daaarn, was that the wrong coooorner" ooooh : D
I think we will definitely see a lot more of this when they release the official hardcore servers. there are plenty of terrible people out there who just love to troll and grief others, making the griefing permanently delete your character on a hardcore realm is just going to be the ultimate salt for them.
Official Hardcore server will die after a few weeks.
Thats part of the game that makes it fun. I mean i absolute loved all the drama and ninjaing in Vanilla WoW. That's part of the experience that made it so fun. If you listen to his actual interview he states that he had no intention of doing this when he first started in the guild, but it got to the point he was tired of the guild's actions and leadership corruption of drops and deaths and other stuff, and Calamity barely made it out of there. He planned it for a few weeks and he had played with them for almost a year and not just Wow he played other offline games!
As someone who has been raiding with HC Elite. I don't think this was some grand plan by Tiny. I am sure he thought that maybe one day he world troll, went back and fourth, saw an opportunity coming up to four horsemen and went with it. It isn't like he planned this a year in advanced and rolled warrior just to be able to taunt.
No one even thought we would make it to Naxx.
Theres too many details to see this wasnt planned. The variable that really sells it to me as plotted is that he got exactly sir zeliek of all the horseman. Too many coincidences . This was plotted to a very scary level if detail.

They realized who he was a while after he was in the guild. I mean, the guy was raiding multiple times a week with them for like 7 months. Furthermore, he had tanked AQ40 and Blackwing Lair, where there are also easy opportunity for huge griefs. I mean the guy even hung out with the guild after raiding to play other, casual games with the guildmates. What an absolute sociopath. So sick
Potentially unpopular opinion, but if the guy was a known greifer the raid essentially decided "fuck it let him play" anyway. Hindsight is 20/20 but I make it a point not to play with d-bags. Leadership should've just said they didn't want to be associated with someone like that and ended it with that.
This is the only opinion people are expressing. Nothing unpopular about it
The appeal should be rejected.
Appeals should only count in the case of DCs or when players don't have any agency over their characters (game bug, internet lag, etc). They trusted this guy to play with them and tank.
Its the responsibility of the player, while they are on, focused on the game, to NOT die in order to maintain their "Hardcore" status.
Yes, they got screwed over. But their characters should stay permanently dead. Otherwise what's the point of Hardcore if actions don't have consequences?
hardcore is already pointless because of petri potions imo
actions dont have consequences anyway they just pull their parachute if they make a mistake

Cause I'm sure, at most and I could be mistaken, 5 people die on a screw up in a raid, usually, on rare occasions where more than that does.
lesson learned, dont play with griefers LMAO
hc is over before official servers
Hardcore servers seem like they're just going to canabalize themselves and will have more griefers than actual serious players.
They invited the griefer in, who was known and hadn't changed his name. So long as GMs aren't this stupid, they'll be fine. Hardcore has been around far longer unofficially for a couple years or more now, and it hasn't died out yet but that's also because they enable anti-grief/disconnection appeals. We've yet to know if Blizzard will do the same.
It doesn't matter the situation, intentionally malicious player activity should be banned in any game. The more a company protects from malicous play the less people do it. You can't catch every case, but just the threat of it will deter people
@tylerseale1684 damn i can't wait for blizzard to HAVE to ban EVERYONE that makes me wipe on ANY boss... I PLAY PERFECT 100% of the time and everyone else ALWAYS causes a wipe... they should be BANNED INSTANT because they are NOT allowing me to enjoy the game and i HAVE to sit in raid for hours. lol
@Corvin1313 I think you missed the point of malicious behavior. We can take griefing as an example. If someone kites mobs from a different zone over to you and feign deaths on top of you and gets you killed by them. That is malicious. If you are running for your life out of a cave passed someone at the entrance and the aggro onto that person and kill them, that is not malicious.
The overwhelming majority of dungeon and raid deaths will not be malicious, but something like what this guy did was clearly malicious. And you'd be able to tell in other cases too.
@@tylerseale1684 had a guy get mad today because of a wipe and left key... is that malicious? key was broken from then on and my gameplay was affected by it.
how about if someone pulls extra mobs on purpose because of an argument between him and the tank causing a wipe... is that malicious?
By your standards... both of these people should be "banned" correct? No if's and or buts about it... they left the key on purpose and pulled extra mobs knowing it would be a wipe on purpose... PERMA BANNED by your logic. Correct?
@Corvin1313 there is varying extremes of everything, it's not always black and white. Most things in life are actually very much gray. It doesn't have to be a simple "you pulled extra mobs so you are banned".
Like in your example of someone pulling extra mobs and wiping the group... the majority of the time this is nothing. There are varying degrees of this though. There is the accidental extra mob pull, there is the purposeful extra mob pull with the intent to kill all of it (not to wipe). There is the angry pull everything and wipe the group. And there is the premeditated prior to starting intent to wipe the group.
The first 2 are clearly part of normal gameplay. The 3rd one is bad, I could see this being a warning with increasing punishment for repeats. And the premeditated case is obviously ban worthy.
@@tylerseale1684 so for mythic+ than... ANYONE who decides to leave a key because it WON'T be timed would be premeditated... should equal BAN!!! Correct? Lots of keys that wipe early and late with one boss to go, LOTS of people see the key as if its not timed no need in continuing... this being premeditated AND a repeated thing... ALL those players should be PERMA BANNED... right?
