Since they've reformulated Coco mademoiselle, I was about to give up, they just didn't smell like the unreformulated, but I recently bought the beautiful dabber bottle of the pure parfum...and there it was, the sparkling orange opening, the softness and freshness! What a difference. Beautiful
Oh I bet this smells heavenly. I can't believe I've never smelled the pure parfum. I've tried countless times to make Mademoiselle work for me, but both the EDP and EDT hate me sadly--the first 5 minutes are divine, and then it morphs into a hideous and cloying, synthetic-smelling rose that lasts for hours (though at the very, very end of the EDP I detect a benzoin-like note that I wish was more prevalent in the drydown for me). The Intense flanker is a bit of an improvement, but still the same outcome overall. I love Mademoiselle on others (though I never seem to smell it on every other woman on the street as I've seen lots of people complain about; it's never been all that prevalent anywhere I've been), but I'm afraid it simply just doesn't work for me. I have a bottle of the EDP in my collection because I do love the smell (at first, anyway), and I also feel very Super D when I say I own it "for reference" haha.
Hahaha! Thanks Vanni! :) I know what you mean! To me it has the same effect... opening great than difficult throughout the entire lifespan of the fragrance but the pure parfum stays a bit more balanced and doesn’t go all mushy on me like the edt and regular edp do. I also prefer the edp intense to he regular edp.
Great review. Just what I was looking for to highlight the differences among the different CocoMads. I love CM Intense, but this perfume sounds like it is lovely. And your description of how a perfume lasts to the end is what I love about a well-blended perfume. You articulated that perfectly. And who doesn't love a hint of champagne?
Hi Dacob, Thanks for your always wonderful video's. I have a bottle which has a batchcode 0401. 2016-05 Age 8 years 5 months 7 days. Do you think it is still good? Just received it fresh from the store... Thanks!
@@SuperDacob Oh really? I see they have a dab bottle on Chanel. Is that the same thing? Also, you're the only one that's reviewed this. I was looking forever.
I just scored a 35 ml. tester of parfum and cant wait to receive it. Bought second hand online and was skeptical because of the wierd shaped glass bottle didnt know about that from Chanel but it is exactly as you described it here, flat. I hope its intact note wise but for 50$ if not im not hurt too bad.... we shall see. Im so pumped!
Hello, loves! Yesterday, the limited edition bottles of No.5 and No. 5 L'eau became available. I never realized that Madamoiselle came in parfum form. I may consider this one after the holidays. Hugs to all.😄
Hi Dacob, do you recall how much this was when you originally purchased? Thanks! P.S Absolutely love your knowledge and expertise regarding all things Chanel :) Take care!
Hi Dacob once again a wonderful review. I was wondering where or which airport did you get the purse spray version from? I have been trying to track one down but I can’t find it anywhere in the states. I do have the 35ml tester version you are talking about but I really want the purse version you have.
Love them both... but I gravitate more now to Mademoiselle...and the body oil is heavenly ❤️❤️❤️How about Chanel hair mist? do you use them? Whats your take on them?
This is not a comment on this vid,. but I have an interesting issue/question. Are you or anyone else leaving negative reviews for scents on Luckyscent? I ask because the last 3 negative reviews that I wrote have not been posted on the scent in questions page, but the positive reviews I wrote at the same time HAVE been posted. I wrote an email to Luckyscent asking about this, and they assured me that they don't censor negative reviews, but the neg reviews I left STILL have not been posted. I feel a sense of kinship with other frag folks, and want to spare people the disappointment of bad perfumes, but they aren't letting me.
Kevin Mccoy honestly I used to think they stayed close to the skin but the Parfum projects far on me. 3 dabs and literally it leaves a trail apparently. So I chalked it up to maybe u just can’t smell it as strongly as others. I guess it also depends where you apply it
No refills? That is environmental wasteful. You would think that Chanel executives would be more aware that the public who buy their perfumes care about that sort of thing! Yesterday I bought the L'Eau EDT Vaporiser. I have not opened it yet. The theory was that I could save it for Christmas but there is 0/10 chance of that happening, so I may as well open it today! LOL! I also got the enriched hand cream in the egg. It was the same price, so I thought I might as well have it. That one I will definitely save for Christmas. Thanks to the information I have picked up from your videos, I have established my credentials at Chanel as a Five Star client and a perfume literate client (which I am not really) and I am on the list to be telephoned as soon as the No5 red bottle is available for sale. I am suspicious that it may already be in Australia, because the SA said to me '....we will notify you as soon as we are allowed to sell it...' which indicates that it may already be here and living in embargo! That is a relief. I was worried that it would take so long to arrive in Australia that I would be bored with it by the time it arrived! Thank you for the video!

Great video. I love the pure perfume version of Mademoiselle. Sits close to the skin but indeed well blended and sophisticated.
Dacob, you’re my go to Chanel expert and I was wondering if you would ever do a video on Chanel’s tweed?

Do you find any similarities between Mademoiselle pure parfum and Mademoiselle Intense?

Countdown to the red bottle.

Does it smell like vanilla at all along with the citrus ? I like that the intense has vanilla too.
Its a patchouli heavy scent. The vanilla is tame but its there.
