I could really relate to this. You don’t have to go as deep into the things that were gone into if you’re not trying to better yourself and you can notice the difference between you then and now. I have been clean of drugs for years now and it still pops into your head after all this time but knowing how much it messes up your body/head. Good on you and Eric am sure who was listening he is a top bloke to talk too. Well done man respect and keep it up life is a journey just got to go on the right paths for you

Wow, that's some tale. Glad your on the recovery road. I've seem lots of old ravers go down similar routes and disappear. I've got lots of mates now, going down the drink .. bags ... drink route, that I've distanced myself from. Such a shame.
Qaulity that mate, really enjoyed it, to admit your faults like that , even though they were drug induced, is brave and powerful. It's the hiding things that kills us, especially from loved ones. And they usually know your hiding things from them anyway. This will inspire people to strive for what you are achieving, fucking love it, I might even get off me script after this lad

@@GivingItAwayIt’s tough doing that. I had to admit to my long-term partner that I was doing heroin behind her back for a couple of years, despite saying I was off it. It’s hard as she then remembers all the stuff you did together, all the things you said, and realises you were high and deceiving her. I’m long past all that now, but it still makes me feel guilty.

@@GivingItAway No one admits to wrongdoing out of the blue. I wouldn't have told my girlfriend had I not had to. Drug users are secretive and if they can get away with their behaviour, they will. But I don't believe in beating yourself up over things you can't change, so if you've made changes to yourself, just pack it away and move on.
