Comedians complain about the low turn out for their show, so they blame it on the left, rince and repeat In the end, the left did absolutely nothing, but still somehow get most of the blame.

This was current and very popular when I was at uni. For some of us, it just so happened one of the heads of the art department was a Martin and the office receptionist was actually a Linda! We just imagined being talked about for our various appearances and diversities. Shame our Linda was a right grump who hardly smiled!
This is less than 20 years old but I'm not sure in the world we live in now, the BBC would be able to show repeats of Little Britain. If they did most of it would end up being edited out.
