I find it interesting that they listed only the low-power repeaters serving the Northern Ontario communities and not the major or even medium-sized market signals. That's still more than they had in the 1983 signoff where they just gave an address for "where to write to find TVO in your area."
Used to love sign offs. Seems like most channels don't have them anymore, playing infomercials non-stop through the night/early morning instead. (or do they sign off before the infomercials?)
oh lord, i remember how ULTRA COOL AND HIP the computer graphics of the TVO logo looked, back as a kid.
I love the dialing sound and the unique test pattern after the National Anthem

Interesting. Well observed.
It does seem odd not to include those for Toronto, Ottawa, Windsor and such.
I watched TVO on channel 4 as a kid
Channel 4 is NBC HD
Goodnight and BONSOIR (LOVE IT!!!)

Since all TV in the US and Canada went from analog to digital there's been no reason for stations to sign off.
@@CelesteKTheNewWaveRevue It'd be nice for them to return, though.
0:25 What is the name of that music track??
