What amazes me about Yello is this sound sounds very 80's and modern while all Yello at the same time. Love how they stay true to their sound and either you like them or you don't. They aren't trying to make music to fit a demographic.
Boris is such an incredible producer. Everything sounds crisp and just where they should be. As an amateur producer, I would love to watch him in action.
After hearing, "Oh Yeah", in Ferris Bueller's Day Off, it took me quite a while to figure out the artist(s). I was still in high school at the time, and on a weekend, I went to a Musicland in Northridge Mall in Brown Deer, Wisconsin. Bought, "One Second", on cassette. Went home, put it on, heard, "La Habanera", and was blown away. Every song sounded different, but could tell it was ALL Yello. I've been hooked ever since. Good to see they're still being creative!
FBDO introduced me to Yello. Thanks, John Hughes. I wanted to listen to "Oh Yeah" again and promptly fell in love with "La Habanera" as my dad was a Latin Jazz fan and I grew up listening to Tito Puente, Perez Prado and Cal Tjader. When I first heard "La Habanera" I got chills. Couldn't believe a Swiss group put out such Latin vibes. So thrilled to see this new track from Yello!
YELLO 'NeVeR' fail to impress... Their music has everything. Production skills, & a great sense of humour.... Missing in most modern electro music.... YELLO, the originators of top quality sample sound electronic music 💙🏁

That's probably closer to the actual story than Yello would ever let on about
80's and early 90's Heavy Metal, that is my thing but damn I love me some Yello.
These guys are still making music after so many years and still doing it their way. It's great.
productionwise its (as always, since the 80s) absolutely outstanding. my ears are in heaven!
F*cking legends in my book.
Seconded.
Every one of their songs I started thinking ‘I don’t dig it’ the. After another 30 secs my toes start tapping and the beat takes me
i think it takes some maturity to appreciate music like this. it also helps if you have some basic understanding of music or play some instruments. back then i thought what is this cr*p? now i totally dig their whole catalog. blazing saddles is on loop. one listen is just not enough.
i,ve been listening to these guys music for over 30 years brilliant new song very much like there old songs great
ни с чем не спутать. this is Yello. Like a supernova. Cool
That moment when you realize your grandfather is cooler than you. 😂
Sure...but Yello has always been cooler than anybody, even when we were kids.
Not too sure who's the most crazy , these guys or Sparks, both brillaint.
Nice to see Yello again.
WOW....Yello! Ein Teil meiner Jugend Klasse dieses "Waba Duba" MEGA !
Im honestly stumped between, "Do I hate this?.......Or is this the most forward thinking, visionary ,musical output happening right now?" I love it!!!! great post! thanks again!
Hi Chris, how are you doing today
I hadn't heard anything from the fellas since the late 80's, and they're still living life to the max
What amazes me about Yello is this sound sounds very 80's and modern while all Yello at the same time. Love how they stay true to their sound and either you like them or you don't. They aren't trying to make music to fit a demographic.
We are living in 2020, while those guys live in 3420.
*Still* live in 3420
Ian Maki They should return to theirs families sometime, in 3420.
We are living in 2020, while those guys live in hamster hamster fluorescent fish.
That's true.
music is beyond time, proof #1254
The background is one of the coolest things I've every seen. Cool song too.
One Second is still one of my favorite albums of all time, and what an audiophile treat to boot. Plus the divine Shirley Bassey.
You can easily tell how much fun they are having too
This is so classic Yello. Can't stop watching this video. Really looking forward to the new album. Still producing great tunes after all these years.
One of my all times favorit bands are back yesssss
Loved these dudes when I was 16 years old, still love them and their music 40 years later ❤❤❤
Don't understand a god damn thing. Don't need to. This is perfection.
The kings have returned to grace us with another masterpiece.
Delight, nothing but delight!
Love the fact that they're still working, and still creating!
It's good when good things don't disappear.
Dieter's dancing is cool as hell
YELLO 'NeVeR' fail to impress... Their music has everything. Production skills, & a great sense of humour.... Missing in most modern electro music.... YELLO, the originators of top quality sample sound electronic music 💙🏁
Their music is timeless.
