Reading My Essays that Got Me Into UPENN (with common app tips)

This is the Common App and Questbridge personal essay that got me into the University of Pennsylvania! I applied regular decision to Penn in 2021 and I got lucky enough to get in.
Hopefully, this video provides a little insight on college essays in some way, shape, or form. There's definitely better writing somewhere out there, but this is what I wrote and what worked for me. Maybe this will provide a little bit of inspiration for the struggling high school seniors (me at one point).
It took me awhile to film this video because I was really hesitant on whether I wanted my personal essays to be read, heard, or seen by other people. I used to binge watch all these college videos when I was applying so I eventually wanted to make my own. These essays are a deeper side of me and I wanted to be more transparent. I started this UA-cam channel as a video diary for myself and I'm determined to continue that journey.

Feel free to comment any and all concerns so that we can get a community thread going to help each other out and provide some motivation. There's a lot more I have to say about the college admissions process so shoot me any comments/questions.

Thank you for sharing such a personal story. You are wonderful and strong and inspiring. Hope you think of this when things get tough.
As a middle child with the 'smarter' 'more studious' 'more sociable' older sibling, I can relate to the feeling of always being compared and always being in the shadow.
I am glad you have grown into your own person, young as you are. You have the future in front of you and you'll do great things!

Girl trust me don't worry about it till your summer of junior year, u need to focus on your grades this year because some schools will want your transcript. please take the advice I didn't because I only cared about my grades last year (aka junior) and I regret it
