I think it's great! BRT is way less expensive than metro, light rail, or trains, but serves the purpose of light rail. A far cheaper version of the light rail.
This is good to hear. I'm a huge public transport enthusiast who's moving to the area very soon. It's funny watching everyone complain about traffic when they actively contribute to it. If you want less traffic, stop driving cars.
Traffic is why buses get delayed and trains get delayed, cuz theres some idiots who decide to break crossing gates and beat the train and end up failing 💀💀💀
KPIX CBS SF - AC Transit needs to install License Plate Reader camera aboard all Buses , so they can Issue Tickets to the Vehicles that use the BUS Lane, Park in Bus Zones and block Traffic.
They have cameras, those cameras see the license plate and takes a picture...What the city should do is post those huge cameras on the sides of the bus lanes were the bus station cameras can't reach
We in Europe lough about those things. You need DECADES to implement a bus only lane. 👍 😄 You need HUNDRED of years to implement a high speed train between SF and LA. 😉
Maybe if you europeans stop rubbing that trying to get proper transit is expensive and lengthy, it would eventually do good to our transit, cuz we know. Its not the best, but rubbing it in our faces won’t do any good 😊😊😊😊😊 so we in america laugh about your complaints
Or do what MUNI does. They let SFMTA install cameras on the buses and those cameras would snap a picture everytime a car is in the bus lane, and tickets will be sent out to the violators.

Only way to stop violators is to put up concret dividers
They will get like a $110 dollar fee for going to bus only lane...and if there problem in a stop busses have to go on the regular lane

Story is deceptive it was 2 lanes in each direction, 4 total now 1 general + 1 bus in each direction, 2 general and 2 bus total
Amazingly expensive project.
Boring tunnels would have been Millions CHEAPER to build.
