I think the point about having only a small box of memories is a good one and I've done the same myself. It goes against conventional wisdom but so many people would benefit from it. Having your memories displayed all over the place means that's you can be tossed about emotionally and perhaps not live fully in the now.
Yes, that's true. I think, it's with good memories or memories that aren't associated with any pain. But for me, it's best to have most of them in one place, so _I can decide_ to look at them when I'm up for it and when I'm in the right mood to be able to take them in... ☺️
I think I'm going to do that when my channel has grown a bit. I'm trying to make more "how to" content right now, but I also like to film more "scenic style" videos... Thank you for watching 💛🌷
I love your point about the tidyness that goes along with a simpler living. It really helps keep order in your life. Really great video Undine, hope to see more! Subscriber #619, keep it up!
Thanks for subscribing 💙 🌷 Yes, that is so underrated... how much time you have to spend on taking care of things is a huge factor for well-being I believe... 🧖🏼♀️
super true. I miss the times though when I could count and mentally "recall" all of my stuff... like I would know what was in my apartment / backpack at all times.
I've said this before, but I love your minimalist aesthetic. I feel like the area of my life that gets the most cluttered is my work, especially files and projects on my computer. I spend so much time trying to make that clean and tidy. I feel my outside world feels unfettered in comparison.
Oh yes, tell me about it... work is a difficult topic because I have to work with other and organized projects together and I can be really difficult.... (Or do you work alone?) For my UA-cam stuff I actually have a filesystem that helps me completely avoid ever using the search function. I mean, on rare occasions I do, but usually it is super organized and that really helps. But you have to do it like once and then really deep clean your system and that's like the hardest part... Probably just like every other decluttering process... 😅
Der Punkt mit der Prokrastination ist so naheliegend und interessant - Danke! Finde mich total wieder. We have 4 kids and the minimalistic journey is very holprig 🤣
I think if you spend a few hours in a day recyclying things properly, taking old clothes to a clothes bank, taking old carrier bags to the supermarket then it simply makes you feel better. Here in the UK too many people buy too many things. Often junk.
Thank you! Might be true ... I'd have to visit the UK to find out more. I believe that Germans are just really good at organizing stuff and hiding all the clutter more efficiently 😂
I got that question a lot, so I tried to cover all about it in my blog post to this video: undinealmani.com/minimalist-floor-bed/ If that still leaves you with questions, let me know!

You should do a closet tour or a day in my life, both of those videos would be so cool from a minimalist perspective!

Yes! Tidyness is a big big plus for Minimalism - when you have less things to maintain, you maintain better and regularly 😊

I have a feeling that's not limited to the UK 😆 I should not laugh, it's kinda dark nowadays...
@@UndineAlmani Lived in Germany. Many years ago now.It did,on the whole, look and feel more minimalist than the UK.Enjoy the rest of your weekend👍

Hello ! I would very much like to put my bed on the ground but i'm afraid it will get wet ..
What do you think? Thank you
I got that question a lot, so I tried to cover all about it in my blog post to this video:
