It's always nice to see road travel videos of the Alps, Switzerland especially. The filming along Lake Thun jogged my memory of travelling from Bern to Interlaken. Man, I miss travelling in Europe!
That was an enjoyable drive. Interlaken is the only town in Switzerland (excl. cities) I know off the top of my head. My primary school was on an Interlaken parade.
This tunnel rehabilitation method (by shutting down one tube and building a parallel road) is quite unique. Has it been used somewhere else? This is commonplace in railroads but not so on roads or motorways.
I suppose this was easier, due to the land already being government owned (a military base) and the lack of a big altitude difference. The traffic volumes are too high for a long term single lane configuration through one tube.
These videos make me very proud to be a European. Love this continent.

One of the most beautiful passages of the A6 by cloudless sky is the view on "Eiger, Mönch + Jungrau" 1km after the exit of Muri/Gümligen
