I'm a fan of Castlebeat but I think this song sound more to Marc De Marco instead of Castlebeat, I mean is not bad but I prefer your usual style.

honestly! it sad how people try to rip-off the musical style that he popularized. Me being in jazz band and also in orchestra band, mac DeMarco's music isn't really that impressive or unique. Turn a simple chord progression into 7s (g7,a7,bm7 you get the point) like ten times and make every song in a different key then BAM you created a Mac Demarco album. To be short @Spirit Goth or @Castlebeat your new album already sounds like dog shit. Hell, this music video is like the music video for Another One. I just hate how indie music is now mainstream to depressed kids who think they are unique or mysterious. when you think of indie you should think of distorted guitar and reverb vocals like guided by voices, built to spill, and much more. Not "I'm depressed I'm sad, I hate my life even though I live in the suburbs with my family, Or my girlfriend left me so I'm gonna write a 2 to the 3-minute song to basically say I'm sad why did you leave me." Castlebeat you are an indie sell out! Read the fucking lyrics and my point will be proven. This is why I hate the bedroom pop genre, They're just a bunch of sexual confused, suburban cunts who think they have it rough in life, So what they do is make a depressing sounding album that was made on a 2,000$ mac book (which I bet his or her parents bought) in his or her room using garage band. Turn the Chorus and Reverb effect set to 10 and congratulation you have created unoriginal music. Mac Demarco isn't the king of indie, Bedroom pop is fucking dumb, and Castlebeat...YOU ARE NO LONGER INDIE.....you are now COMPLETE BULLSHIT. and don't get me even started on modern-day punk.
