Its a good repair, sealed the hole and covered the injury with a reinforced parch... For the other comments below, super single (Monolithic) tires are not cheap like car radials.
Tech needs to make better patches. It seems like Rema Tiptop is way better. Also buffed twice which is not good for inner lining. Here is how Bandag pro recap shop does it. First remove nail. Second drill hole. Third Insert plug stem Fourt measure and mark patch Sixth clean and buff Seventh put glue and patch. Repair sealer may be used but not neccesary.
Yes, this is closer to the way I was trained. Seems like the area around the hole was cleaned before the plug hole reamed ( to get contaminants like oils and silicones) and after the plug for sure. I like the hole sizing awl though I don't recall it as part of the process. Hmmmm.

Legend has it, that tire is still on the road today.
Good repair but damn he took way too long.. I used to do this in less than two minutes from dismount to mount.
A recapped big truck tire is over 340 dollars.
I got a guy out of Baltinore MD who has them for $175. ✌👌👍

god damn. i don't have that kinda time. get them in. get them out. tires gotta roll!
Gawd, what overkill. probably cost more for repair than the price of tire.
Repairs should always be free
