  • I ran into audio issues and had to add new music.
    A little more detailed scene of a mountain path. Let me know what you guys think. Enjoy
    Assets used were created by Epic games. Some foliage was created by Nopal3d. Please use google to research were you can get assets to use in your unreal projects.
    Music- Beethoven - Moonlight Sonata

    Allright guys, so if you want to make it unique, then Zbrush + 3ds Max for props and mountains, Speedtree for trees and grass, World Machine for distant landscapes and there we go, once you have all of it ready and in place you can start building just like he does. But it will take you couple of weeks to build all of that lol, if you create your own models, instead of using ready packages.

    • @timmedcalf4596

    • @scheisseamdampfen
      @scheisseamdampfen 8 років тому +1

      +Michael Aganier If you want to make it really really unique make your own programming language, start programming own engine with own physic and then go on. But i mean hey as long as it works with already made assets why not ?.

      +EZWIN If you want to make it even more unique, learn how to create your own computer. I don't mean newegg.com. I mean go to africa and get the materials to build a cpu. Study up on how to build all the computer parts.

    That was really cool to watch, from the perspective of someone who has not actually done anything like this, but plays games. I'm sure the pros will come and judge each other, but I'm impressed.
    I always thought that things like trees, grass, and repetitive things like roads would be procedurally generated, not hand placed. Or maybe they are in some instances, depending on the engine.

Here's some challenge to ya: a scene inspired by the very first unreal game - whether it's a mountainous Na Pali landscape with a waterfall, some nali houses and/or chushed human spaceship and 2 suns in the sky, or a scaarj base in a nali skyhaven, or any other map.

    Hey dude again great work this is the very first vid I saw from you.
    One thing. As I read the comments already. I must say that some things maybe really need some fixes like the Mountains as 8k is really too much if you dont get too close to them. Also the grass is a really heavy lift for the cpu or gpu I dotn know where it gets rendered...
    But nice work again really good. Do you work for somebody allready btw? Maybe I'll be in need of guys like you who can fast prototype some awesome scenes in the future ;)

    I don't think anyone else takes the time to think about this but.
    Technology/Gaming has evolved. A LOT! It went from being a little simple 2D game where you jump and avoid enemies. To a 3D Game with realistic textures, trees, grass, and basically everything.. It's kinda scary how much technology/gaming has evolved..

    Well, this is a way to create a pretty scene in UE4 but it sure as hell is not an example of efficient resource handling which would be crucial for actual game development.

      It's not a game, stop saying unreal is only used to create game, it is also used by architects he is more creating landscapes than doing an actual game.

    • @starfallproductionsmacedonia
      @starfallproductionsmacedonia 4 роки тому +2

      SOmetimes UE4 is used to just express urself and make a landscape that pretty much works for 1 camera angle.

I will be really apreciate you if you will make your own tutorial and explain haw to use paint brushes to transform models like grass in this video, and also show how to make lakes from step by step, and finally your work with light also really interesting. So a mean whole couse step by step of one scene with best practice, hot keys and another things will be amaizng!

    Hey man this is stunning and really really awesome!
    A little question I have as a beginner is if you make up all you want on the fly during the actual design of the level or if you have some kind of concept beforehand on paper/in your mind?
    Also, what is your "order" of doing things?
    Once again, really really stunning and impressive!
