The fact that Disney and Universal showed clear interest in the ride tells you how good it is. (Yes, Efteling slipped they have visited Dance Macabre.)
Wow maybe I should visit Efteling soon. It's basically around the corner for me. I knew about Spookslot haunted castle being closed but never knew about the replacement.
Looks very entertaining, too bad the camera didn't pick up all the details. I would imagine the queue must stretch to infinity given the low throughput.
It actually has a capacity of 1250 per hour. It comes quite close to this in practice too with a very efficient loading procedure. It has 108 seats that get filled every ride (it has a single rider)
@@NathanHydra Thanks for the clarification, that's a FAR higher capacity than I originally thought. I would love to see a ride of this advanced design here in the states.
I’d actually compare it more to a Vekoma madhouse. The only difference is instead of throwing you upside down in a room, it just tosses you all around the room.
The high pitched sound is so annoying, very loud in real life too. It was the only thing that made me not want to reride it, it's a very cool ride otherwise.

Do you have a source for that, just curious
@HD4amian Looopings podcast with Efteling CEO.
This is perfect for Potter

I thought it looked pretty cool!
Someone should come up with a ride something close to this one in the States!
Aha! Finally & we are sitting next to you!
So, what did you guys think? 😊 I personally really enjoyed the ride, though it seems a bit short.
I loved the ride. The way the whole room comes alive is incredible. Very awesome tech, Efteling did a wonderful job! -Scott
At first I though lame but it all picked up and was pretty good.
This is what Disney’s Haunted Mansion should be!
Was anyone else expecting a Ghost soundtrack to this? Lol
Danse Macabre. One of the most beautiful pieces written by Saint-Saëns.

@@MoultrieGeekyeah, per ride there’s six seating sections, each fitting ten or so people in so a lot of people are on at once.
So it's a tilt-a-whirl?

After ridden it 3 times, more like a teacups on steroids.
No. It's not
