- Hey everybody, I hope you all are staying home and taking care of yourselves. We’re all OK at our house so far. I imagine if you’re at home and looking at UA-cam on your device, you’re alright too. We are the lucky ones for sure. Today’s installment is dedicated to our friends at @WaterlooRecords in Austin, Texas. Austin is a special city for so many reasons. One of those reasons is the music community. And if you’re going to to talk about the music community in Austin, at the top of that list of influential places is one of our favorite record stores and still one of the great record stores in the world, Waterloo Records. This week marks their 38th year in business. 38 years! That is no easy feat. Many stores have come and gone, and through the changes in the business Waterloo has adapted and succeeded. They’ve been through it. They will be come out on the other side and if I have anything to do about it, we will celebrate this store’s birthday for many years to come. We were supposed to be there this week to help with the celebrations (our tour was starting in Austin at ACL Live). Instead we are sending love from afar. But it’s not all we can do right now. Remember their online store is open for business as well. And I don’t know about you, but music is getting me through this thing...and weed of course...lol. Anyway, here is my dedication to one of my favorite record stores in one of my favorite cities...lots of love to Austin and Waterloo Records 📀 RM 🎹

c-record thank you for the translation! Either way it’s still beautiful! Saw The Mavericks in Denver, CO several years ago, and fell in love with them then! It was more of a 50’s, 60,s show and I loved it!

Great to hear the “voice” of a truly talented man without the typical crowd screaming out stupid smart arsed comments and trying to show off that they know what the song is from the first few notes. ( yes, you know who you are.)
