My mom passed away to cancer yesterday evening and she was a huge pink fan. Using her music to get through chemo and stay strong. I am glad I got to show her this song before she passed, she loved it! ❤️

I lost my Dad two years ago today to Cancer. This song is him to a T. Almost as if I wrote it myself. Her Dad and my Dad are the same era or as I like to say vintage. I miss him so much. But this song helped me grieve I'll get to see him when I get there x

This song hits me hard about my grandmother. Single parent during the 1950s. Never got remarried. She raised a farm, had a full time job in a sweatshop. Was a first basemen for the first Women's American Baseball League. Raised my mother and uncle to be amazing people. She and I had always been close.
I just broke since she released this song. Pinks lyrics have always been gorgeous, but this is epic by far. Its so emotional and moves anyone who has lost somebody.

I was absolutely bawling and bawling once I realized what the song was about - I was thinking of my grandma.
