I always want to share the gospel with everyone…but I’m shy I found a way that works for me. I take a scripture and on a index card I write it. I placed several of the handwritten scriptures on the community board at my apartment mailbox and I left one in a shopping cart and I gave one to the drive thru at Wendy’s. He seemed happy to know I wrote them myself. I want to share God’s perfect Love .
Hi Patty! I'm shy at times. Always been shy, thats been my while life. I was the quiet kid. Never been bold. But lately the Lord has given me the boldness to speak to others and find ways to talk with them about Him. Boldness only comes by prayer and a desire to reach the lost. That's God's heart. So pray for Boldness (as Paul did - you'll see in Acts the disciples prayed and boldness came upon them, Paul in Eph 6 asks for prayers for boldness). The Lord wants us to see that we are not brave, courageous, etc - so that He can receive all the glory when you become more bold. I'm a testimony of God's grace. And So I'll pray for you to have the boldness to reach out to others verbally and interact with others more - it's a great way to reflect our beautiful Savior. People are living in darkness and need to see the Light within us. God speed Patty, and may He grant you the boldness to speak - that only comes by the Power of the Holy Spirit. Much Love!
@@pattyoconnell1950s of course! 😊 You'll be in my prayers, and I cant wait to see what the Lord has in store for you. I never expected to be as outgoing as God has made me - I was a literal hermit. But only by His power and Grace has He given me the ability to do what I know you want to do. Just in your post I know you have a desire to reach the lost. And what's discouraging is when we aren't able to do that. I know how hard it is to approach others and talk in general, but when it comes to God? It's that much harder. It does get easier sister :) The Lord will remove that fear and put in its place the boldness to speak. It's happened radically with me and only by prayer and earnestly seeking Him will you see it happen. Ask and you'll receive. He wants us to ask according to His Will - and for sure its His Will that we speak to those living in darkness. Like Yeshua said... John 4 34Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent me and to accomplish His work. 35Do you not say, ‘There are yet four months, then comes the harvest’? It is so hard to read the Scriptures and understand what G-d is telling us. Having Dr Baruch explain what is being taught is a great help to me! The scriptures seam so easy to understand but not having well educated Bible teachers when you are younger does not give you a good Biblical vocabulary.
