Although skate 3 is like this now. I still play it because I genuinely don't care about what people do in spot battle. I just like to have fun and not say anything, but this is something that I would expect to happen on skate 3. I wish people could understand that people like this person here is just having fun. That's why THEY are in a party with 2 people. So those 2 people can challenge each other.
Also had a slightly inefficient parking lot section as well, manualed for a second or so when he was turning around, and his infinite didn’t drop when he started doing tricks again so he had to drop it all together. He also had an inefficient diving board drop, he dropped pretty far from the actual board and had to manual all the way to it.

I've been playing Skate3 for many years (actually, since release), and after that long, doing any trick or trickline is rather easy. Pure muscle memory and repetition. However the game does get boring and I only really hop on the game nowadays just to mess around ... friends have of course quit the game a long time ago. well, i still have my memories so i'm fine with that. still remember when I was new to the game.
Although I enjoy tricklining, (it does make game actually competitive this way), I would appreciate if we reverted slightly back to realism, or instead of realism, in the OPPOSITE direction of the game being even less realistic and thumb durability being our only limit to landing crazy trick lines. I'd love to be soaring extremely high in the sky from a ramp just because I pressed RT a few times as I went up the ramp. These kinds of unrealistic physics would actually make the game insane as all the custom skateparks if you have ever downloaded any. custom player-made skateparks were absolutely insane in skate3.
I remember getting the 360 Tricks off even as fluid combos. But i never managed to put in this Reverts to make it work in Spotbattle. Kinda impossible for me. Never got it done. Endless practicing..
Was there ever a competitive scene in Skate 1 or 2? Like how Skate 3 has tricklining. But did the other skate games have something similar where you could get ridiculously high scores? Aren't Skate 2 servers still up? (I know they are on PS3 Skate 2 but its dead..)
Yes there was, recently bunch of skate 3 ppl hopped on skate 2 and beat every record, skate 1 a couple of people went and set a lot of records. Its just not as popular as skate 3. But if you are interested, look up Kenny lucky for skate 2 scores and Anthony Arena for skate 1 scores.
@@Syphrus I would honestly say the competitive scene was just as big for Skate 1/2. A lot people stop playing skate because of dark catching. When Skate 3 dropped everything did play it. It was a lot of good players at that time. Unfortunately like I said some people didn’t like dark catching and felt like it ruined the game.
I want to see a controller visulizer to see what they exactly do. If they could play a game like Lumines LIVE! or Small Arms that fast, they have really f*cking reaction time
You just gotta ollie higher if I can recall. It is really hard to not get a late flip though for me. Idk if its cuz my controller is busted or what. Cuz I remember spiking it while playing Dead Space 2, I got stuck on the part where you get the slow down effect. I was raging and then just spiked the controller, it wasn't that hard though, i did it lightly
This is skill and endless hours of practise. Anyone can do it, but it's just gonna take some longer than others to achieve this. Personally, it took me 2 years of frequently playing Skate3. BUT, I'm STILL not as good as some of my other Skate3 friends who have played the game LESS than me. I'm definitely offering them a really tough time, but if I were to compare our skills, I'm an 8/10 while a few of my friends are a 9/10. 10/10 is basically what you see in this video, full-on confident tricklining with very few mistakes being made, many mistakes being recovered with nose grabs. It's insane, but professional Skate3 gameplay is basically an art at this point. People who hate on it are just bad at the game and refuse to adapt a healthy competitive mindset in hopes of one day simply beating one of those professional players.
