@@Durray13 that must have taken a long time to type. God is one in being but 3 in persons. God the father, God the Son and God the holy spirit. Is that like anything on earth? No, does it need to be? No. Jesus came to earth and born as a human. While down on earth he was fully God and fully Man. A just God must punish sin. God wanted to give us a way back to him so he gave Christ/himself as a sacrifice. Only one who had done no sin could take on the sin of others. This was predicted throughout the old testament. Read Genesis 22.
In this chapter after God has promised Abraham he will have many descendants through his son Isaac he tells Abraham to sacrifice his son. Abraham had faith that God had a plan. On the way their Isaac asks where the sacrifice is that they will use. Abraham says the following Genesis 22:8
[8] And Abraham said, “My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering.” So the two of them went together.
The Angel of the Lord (who is the pre incarnate christ) stops Abraham and there is a Ram provided for the sacrifice. Not a lamb. That is because the Lamb for the sacrifice is Christ, the place where Abraham was is the same area that Jesus was crucified. This looked forward to the day when God would himself provide the sacrifice. Christs coming, his death and his purpose is clearly predicted in Psalm 22 and Isaiah 53. These were provably written ling before Jesus was born on earth.

It is common knowledge and in the public domain that muhammad's first wife, Khadijah, was a much older business woman who was catholic. It was her and her catholic uncle Waraqah who managed to persuade muhammad that he was a prophet and that the source of muhammad's revelation was angel Gabriel. muhammad himself believed and thought he was demon possessed and was so traumatic by his first encounter that he wanted to commit suicide by throwing himself from the top of a mountain/hill. It is also hard to imagine muhammad being married to a well educated affluent business woman that muhammad did not learn to read and write in the 15 years time span he was married to Khadijah. muhammad was participating and assisting in his wife's business activities where one would think comes along with the need for some reading and writing skills. Either that or muhammad was simply lazy or dumb.
So it was a Catholic who heard Muhammad say "I was violently assaulted in a cave by a spirit. It must have been a demon!" and came to the conclusion "No! That was an angel of the Lord! You must be a prophet!"? Suddenly it makes sense.

It's true that Catholicism rejects the Bible in favor of traditions, but there's nothing specific about angels being violent to humans in their traditions. That was a very strange comment that I left.
Maybe I thought it made sense that a Catholic was the one that started an entire faith that claims to believe the Bible while completely contradicting everything it says. I'll go with that one lol

0:35 asking questions is vital to faith. Questions get us engaged with what we believe and help us dive deeper into the truth. My kids are 9,7, and 4 and we allow questions. My son has asked deep questions since he was 6. We welcome these questions and if we don't know an answer, we're honest about it and say we'll have to look into it more and study.
