The weird mouth sensation is from it not being ripe enough! Wait until its all like jam inside and it wont dry your mouth. Its really sweet and yummy spread on toast! Sometimes they take weeks to totally ripen.
I think I have seen these in our supermarkets & just thought it was a new type of Tomato 🤔🍅 I may have to try one now 😬 Thanks for sharing this fun tasting with us, hope your all keeping well & having a nice start to the week 👍🥰❤️xx
Yes,use to think that too.and now it is my favorite fruit to make smoothie when it is super ripe.just the fruit and milk, taste like and texture like ice cream😊.easier to peel when it's frozen
Persimmons are an amazing fruit. This was an astringent variety meaning it has to be very soft and fully rip before you eat it. Otherwise it will dry your mouth out. This persimmon wasnt fully ripe. A fun experience but you only want to try an unripe astringent persimmon once.
Heyyy Fam ! Wow ive never seen anything like this fruit before ! lol. Not that its numbing your mouth though! Very interestinggg! Great Sharing! Have a blessed dayy! 💞💞
LOL fuzzy mouth. I bought one once...then it sat in the fridge till it was almost rotten. I never did try it. Great review!!! BTW I crushed your sub button. I hope it still works... lol Dusty mouth.. now I am wanting to try one!
I have four persimmon trees, and you had the astringent variety which was not fully ripe. The non astringent variety you can eat when its not fully ripe. It looks like you had the giombo or hychiya variety, both of which are astringent. ua-cam.com/video/5WiW7ddHZ70/v-deo.html

lol. We had persimmon trees growing up but I don’t remember ever eating any of them. I don’t think we had them bloom too often. 😂
Such an interesting fruit!
Hey guys what is the fruit
Persimmon
Yall is awesome 😂
Crazy I'm watching this now. Richard Simmons just died.
What a riot
The dry sensation comes from all the tannins that are not good for you.
Super common
They will dry your mouth out if they’re not ripe enough😂
