i'm always worried about collecting japanese versions cause the trim is so different than the western versions but also japanese volumes are so much cheaper

Was just regular, why is this bigger?, and you need your own space *coughyaoicough*. 😂 What would Shonen Jump and Shojo Beat volumes be considered? 🤔 I got like CMX, TokyoPop, Dark Horse (Trigun), and ADV to name a few. Those all look like their different height wise.
I believe Tokyopop volumes are the same height/width as Shojo Beat/Shonen Jump volumes since those are put out by VIZ. The defunct publishers and old prints from Dark Horse is where stuff gets messy cuz they weren't even consistent amongst themselves xD

But idk if the new releases of TokyoPop are different now. Yeah, was depend on the series I think for Dark Horse. lol I think the only DH I have is Trigun. 😂

I have a decent amount of both and honestly they just each get their own dedicated spaces on the shelves since they're so different.
